Life is Strange

I learned from visiting /r/lifeisstrange (btw, don't visit that) that swaths of people have reported severe post Life Is Strange bouts of depression.

Personally I am content with my head canon ending of Max & Chloe scissoring their way across the Pacific Northwest.

I chose save Chloe because even though I kind of hated her, because I felt like it was the more in-character choice for the Max I played. After all the trippiness of episode 5, I don't think she would've had the emotional energy left to fully weigh the ethical ramifications of her choice in the few moments she had, and she would've gone purely with her gut instinct, which would've said to save her friend.

However, I think sacrifice was the more canonical ending, not because of the "lol longer cutscene" bullshit, but because it more neatly ties up Max as a character. People may argue that it makes the whole week of the game and getting powers to begin with irrelevant, but the way I see it is more that it gave Max an opportunity for closure about the guilt she felt for abandoning her best friend.
