As far as issues go, maybe I am just not understanding the character creation process. I created a few characters and started up a new game. They were all recruited but none of them got the job I set them for and 3 of them were given different hairstyles when started up. Made a guy that looked like Big Boss and he entered the game looking like he was in the cast of Jersey Shore.

How do you assign extra scientist to research stuff?

Scientists don't get assigned to anything, they just automatically reduce the time for research.

I'm assuming starting point is randomized each game, pray you get Asia because the bonus from it is fucking spectacular. Instant research for all ammo/grenade upgrades is fucking dope.

I cannot catch a break lol. Every time I have a successful mission or 2 and rank some people up, they go and die to some bullshit. And panic seems way more likely than the first game. It's wierd how it has the same issue the first game has with resolutions over 1920x1200, it detected my my 3440x1440 just fine but the highlight boxes on avenger and unit name flags on the battlefield don't line up.

I started playing on a 1080 TV, but when I was playing at 1920x1200 today I had problems where it didn't correctly recognize where the mouse was and moved me to the wrong tile. Fairly annoying. Also I've read that the difficulty curve is "backwards" ... the beginning is ment to be harder with squadies dying... and as you get upgrades and such you start to overcome that and build longer-term characters. But I'm still only a handful of missions in myself. Going to play this one slowly I think.

4th or 5th time today i've black screened post-mission and had to force restart. can't even alt-f4 or go to desktop. this sucks

Just tried the dark facility and it slaughtered me in my butt hole.

Outside of long loading screens post-missions, I've had no errors with the game at all.

My main issue is just mad frame rate drops in the Avenger and when loading into missions.

it's ok to wait unless you're super insane about playing this game. but it'll be hit or miss with the level of bugs you get.

how does the monthly scan bonus work? does it stay on until you overwrite it? and you don't start with anything to begin with, right?

How do you stop dark events? I can't seem to actually figure out how to choose which one I want to stop.
