Two Pixar movies in 1 year! (or is that the norm?) Anyway, just a teaser now but another film out is one closer to The Incredibles 2 so can't be all bad I say :D

The 2 movies this year is due in part to the 2-year gap between Monsters University and Inside Out. Yea, it's been that long since a Pixar film.

Is this going the way of Wall-E in that there will be minimal to no actual dialogue? I don't think I've seen any character talk or even appear to communicate past looks/grunts yet.

I'd actually love it if they went that route.

I was definitely getting a Wall-E vibe from the trailer. It reminds me of what Don Bluth wanted Land Before Time to be (a "silent film" a la Fantasia's "Rite of Spring") but with cuteness overload.

Seen it. You will have the feels. Less comedy than other Pixar movies.

Watched it. I've concluded I've watched too many Pixar movies that I know where the plot is going to go within the first 5-10 minutes before anything climactic happens, even recognize little things that represent something will come back later again in a different setting.

Not saying I did not enjoy it, there were some feels to be had. Also recognizing Voice Actors during the movie without looking them up beforehand is becoming a pastime of mine.

Apparently this movie is bombing at the box office (for a Pixar movie, anyway) with an opening of $40 million, and dropping to $15 million in week 2. It'll probably get a spike during the holidays but everyone is projecting Star Wars to kill everything else dead.
