Well, it's just going to go down the same way it did when the #GamerGate threads and conversation were all being banned.
People will flock to 4-chan or 8-chan and continue at a new site.

Pretty much exactly what Isladar never understood. Free speech isn't about the acceptability of what is said. It's about the fact that, with very rare circumstances, even the atrocious is supposed to be protected. True civil liberty organizations understand this, like the ACLU which has represented the KKK in the right to adopt a highway. SJWs do not understand this concept.
Thank you, Mellema. It boggles my mind when people accuse a private organization of stifling their 'murican rights. When this occurs you have ignorant folk like Serra making vapid declarations to force debate where there is none.
This is a censorship issue. There is no legality here. No one's rights are being infringed upon. A company made a discretionary change to the use of its platform on what looks to be a road map towards attracting advertisers.
Is it hypocritical? Yep. Are they cherry picking content to censor and playing favorites with SJWs? Yup. Have there been any legal ramifications to the contributors of the content they've banned? Nope.
lmao, apparently a couple of hours ago Ellen Pao tried to post a PM in r/FaithinHumanity by trying to link directly into her inbox's PMs. Fucking l o l ceo of reddit doesn't know how to use reddit

I can't believe all of this ineptitude from a person in such a position of power
This is the same lady who thought that dongles were trying to rape her right?
It's that and an increasingly coddled generation, raised on self-esteem and everyone's a winner participation awards, that can't face confrontation and criticism. They prize comfort over everything else, and being confronted with someone who doesn't recognize and validate them is anathema.
The idea that experiences (especially of victims) should have primacy in discussion derives from this idea of inherent worth: http://www.vox.com/2015/6/3/8706323/...ofessor-afraid
As long as fatpeoplestories is safe I dont care.
That sub is a goldmine for stories.
personally i think it IS based on content but also on popularity of said content
FPH was making the front page on a daily basis with their posts, and I think that's probably why it got targeted
coontown and pics of dead kids or whatever didnt end up on r/all ya know?
I also support consistency, dont' care whether the sub is removed or not, but most of all I agree with Perm - that sub was the worst so I'm not losing sleep over it
Oh god, the fat people stories I could tell...
Do you know what it's like to cath an 800lb man with in innie for a penis?
All the interesting ways fat people have sex...
Intubating someone that can barely bend their neck.
This is one topic I could never be PC about, I've seen the worst of the worst.
I believe she also lost her job didn't she?
Yeah, she got him fired, but then she also got fired. Here's a post from the guy who got fired in regards to the incident.
She still posts gems like this on twitter

Am i imagining that she is basically comparing herself to harriet tubman?
i don't think anyone actually approves of reddits CEO, if you do you're probably a misguided SJW.
reddit will take the same path digg did and slowly die off and something new will pop up
