Thank you, Mellema. It boggles my mind when people accuse a private organization of stifling their 'murican rights. When this occurs you have ignorant folk like Serra making vapid declarations to force debate where there is none.

This is a censorship issue. There is no legality here. No one's rights are being infringed upon. A company made a discretionary change to the use of its platform on what looks to be a road map towards attracting advertisers.

Is it hypocritical? Yep. Are they cherry picking content to censor and playing favorites with SJWs? Yup. Have there been any legal ramifications to the contributors of the content they've banned? Nope.

Again, not talking about the constitutionally guaranteed free speech, talking about the ideal. From Reddit's core values:

Embrace diversity of viewpoints.
Allow freedom of expression.

You want to call it freedom of expression as they do, fine, you're just calling free speech by a different name. My point was that places like Reddit have built themselves on allowing people to freely post whatever they want.

Also, this is making me wish I had the time to dig through reddit. Do they have a community for everything?

This is an interesting story to follow. I don't use reddit much except to read specific things that were linked elsewhere (here) but still interesting. Also I keep reading the thread title as "Reddit Farts" and it makes me chuckle.

This is getting ridiculous. I'm fat and these reddit posts and shit doesn't bother me frankly because random Internet and even strangers opinions don't mean shit to me. While I don't condone harassment itself in any spectrum I just think they are getting way too PC. I know people who have blurred the line from body positivity to being just as bad if not worse against anyone else.. Yet they cannot see how it's the same fucking thing.

I completely agree that these generations upcoming are being so coddled they can't handle anything that isn't puppies and rainbows up their ass. Get the fuck over it, this is the real world. The difference is I can fucking choose what to ignore, what I want to listen to or engage in and not expect anyone to side with me.

Indeed, we can only hope the shitstorm is big enough that ad revenue is impacted and she's forced to resign/fired. Granted, that may or may not happen given how many SJW trolls have been spending hundreds of dollars buying gold to give to people bashing Pao.
