Pretty sure the vast majority aren't people that hate fat people, they hate the HAES fat people, no one is out there making fat stories about a funny fat guy that knows he's fat and it's unhealthy and shouldn't be celebrated.

Which is really just the self-fulfilling prophecy of the internet being shit, so let's not bother trying to clean it up some. I can't agree with that, but vocalizing such just gets the jimmies rustled of those who like it just the way it is now.

Not a reddit user, myself, but conversation coming up about other bad sections still existing reeks more of a shortage of manpower to sift through it all, investigate, and act. A hydra with too many heads, if you will. Things being shut down have probably been brought to attention for one reason or another and something like the whalewatching section getting hit almost strikes me more as the trolls themselves taking advantage of the manpower situation just to further highlight the absurdity and add to the lulz.

End result? Guess we endure a bit of, "Grr, SJWs bad! THEY RUIN EVERYTHING!" and then life goes on.

There's a dissonance here, so let me clear it up.

Hating people is your prerogative.

Hating on them (going out of your way to make them miserable when they have done nothing to you) is wrong.

This threat is about fat people.

People are super fanny bothered by all this because they claim its a harassment issue, but leave shitredditsays, a 100% harassment sub that has done a lot of fucked up shit (doxxing, getting people fired, etc), is still up and operational with no chance of it ever being taken down.
