Well to clarify, I don't mean that I think it's bad that he's the strongest dude in the land, but I do think it'd be stale and awkward if he doesn't have at least one person that can give him a run for his money.

I mentioned earlier, he will be fighting shalltear, so it'll be a lv100 Tank/DPS vs a Caster fight, which sort of gives him a run for his money consider all the shit he has to pull out of the woodwork just to beat her barely

That "call" he got before going to the graveyard is most likely the message about something wrong with shalltear, so it looks like we'll be seeing it before the 13 episode is up

Took a break from GATE after EP2 cuz I thought it was going full harem and I'd rather drive spikes through my eyes than deal with that shit.

Glad I picked it back up. It's pretty funny.

Mild overlord spoilers answering some questions from earlier posts, nothing too bad

Ainz is probably not the most powerful person in Nazarick. He outright said himself that Albedo's brother (unseen) is stronger than he is, and Shalltear is a direct counter to him. These NPCs were designed to be raid bosses for level 100 players. A raid of 1500 players invaded Nazarick in the game's prime and they failed to get past the 8th floor. The mechanics changed obviously with the world becoming real but in no way whatsoever are players leaps and bounds above NPCs in power.

Now, Touch Me. That guy that Ainz mentioned a bunch of episodes ago. That guy is the strongest character ever introduced in the show. He is OP. Basically undefeatable. And you'll see why soon.

Went back to watch Charlotte after giving up on ep3 because it was being talked about here. It's starting to get interesting but I think they took a little too long to get there. What they were showing in some of the first episodes could have been wrapped up a lot faster to get to the meaty stuff. In general though the whole thing feels ... fanficy? The writing feels rough and some story elements appear rather weak. Still, at this point I think it's worth continuing.

The animation is nice and the characters etc are interesting, but it totally didn't turn out to be the brainless battle anime I thought it would. I'm not sure if they plan to do more but I kinda hope they keep the mystery vibe.

I'm kind of the opposite. It started off interesting, but this whole, "Who's the Seventh?!" arc has dragged on too long.

They're basically adapting volume 1 for this season so you'd better get used to that.
The ending will make you flip a table
