Umaru-chan is also pretty harmless, but I find the MC insufferable most of the time so I dropped it.

Can agree. The MC is easily the worst character in the series. I like her friends enough to keep reading it though. Haven't watched the anime, maybe they turned her into even more of a cunt.

The anime has a different vibe compared to the manga. I thought the manga was kind of dull but the anime does a pretty decent job with it and actually made it more appealing for me. Not a great anime but worth a watch I'd say

Theyll prolly announce a 2nd cour or something once its done with ep 13 since its a good series so far with plenty of material to use.

Overlord is fucking awesome. Love the premise of the show, the tone, humor, animations, voice actors, story so far, pretty much all is top notch.

It just came to my attention that while Gate is indeed 24 episodes overall, they're taking a break in the middle, Fate style. So upcoming Ep12 will be the last one until January.

Charlotte Ep12

Uh, well... I don't know? Like, nothing really happened. It's extremely open-ended, and I don't know if they plan to leave it like that (which, considering this is Maeda, certainly could well be the case), or build on it in the future with like another season or some shit.

Bluntly put, Charlotte was really mediocre, riddled with a lot of bad plotholes and unexplained questions. Its only redeeming factor was Tomori; goddamn, she's so perfect.


Edit: So I was under the assumption that Ep12 was the last episode. Looks like it's not. Still, I'm not sure what they can do at this point. My point on Tomori still stands though.

Somehow, the way Rokka no Yuusha ended has left me feeling a bit concerned about possible future seasons.

At least Nachetanya is gone, I really didn't like her. As of yet, I'm not feeling much better about her replacement, though.

Went to check wikipedia after watching the last Rokka episode. Somehow makes me think the anime ended differently than what happened in the novels. Or am I wrong? This is based on the spoilerish stuff in the descriptions of the characters there.

Super funny ending, I liked everything until the near end. Kinda figured that whole thing would bring them closer but they kinda just maintained the status quo.

I hope the wait for Baby Steps S3 is less than the wait between S1 and S2. I have Haikyuu to carry me through the fall but after that I'm gonna die without one of them.

I watch AnD and I do really enjoy it, but it's not on the same level as you say. Haikyuu has me super pumped though.
