Just so you know, considering they know they can milk FFVII, 2025 release will still just end with cloud getting out of midgar for 'part/episode 1' lol.

I don't remember them saying there were "news" coming out, they said there'd be FFVII-R related things at the art exhibition for the 30th anniversary and there's a recreation of the church in the slums with a bunch of new artwork as well as new written lines for Aerith voiced by her japanese VA, Maaya Sakamoto.

I'm just going to keep hoping they change their mind and release it all as one game. Really not wanting this released as separate parts or I'll just be waiting until they are all out for the complete version that will probably follow.

The scope of that is too big and ambitious. I am sure everyone including them would love to do that but it's not something that would be so easily done. Once its all said and done and complete I am sure they will release a master edition of the game and additional content to make sure everything flows and connects properly

I’m still not buying the “will have full content” schtick(not saying y’all are). I already know what full content looks like. It exists. On PS1 and PC. So when the game ends 1/4th of the way in, it’s going to be obvious it’s not s complete game.

It’s PR bullshit, nothing more.

I have no doubt they’ll be enjoyable experiences. It’s still 1 game split into 4 parts for I’m hoping not full price, but the way they keep spitting the “they’ll be complete games” nonsense I’m imagine full price.

Either way, I won’t be buying them as they’re released. If I get it at all itll be when it’s actially a complete game, not just PR-talk complete.

(ps you guys can still enjoy it, more power to you, I hope it’s as good as you want)

I'll probably start EP1 after a 75% off summer steam sale, or when just over 1/2 of the episodes are released. That way by the time I slowly get through them with the gf the next or last episodes will be coming out and I don't gotta wait a decade for the conclusion.
