Is this a Harry Potter crossover? Why are dementors encircling Cloud and Aerith at the end? This is the one thing I need to know.
EDIT: I know it's short, but I also don't like that ending part with Aerith. They made her seem weak in that scene, and feels reallllllly out of place from how Aerith acts compared to the whole compilation of FF7.

My guess is similar to how Aeris can hear the voice of the Ancients/planet, the black things are Jenova or a manifestation of Sephiroth's will with Cloud only able to see them between touching her and his past experience as a test subject. Can also see it turning out to be a vehicle to better emphasize the mind fucking he later goes through since, if being honest, his handing over of the Black Materia was still kinda shaky despite the explained in-game rationale.

I just want to know how materia is being handled in an action rpg and they just never show any of that at all.
