Game looks amazing but I'm disappointed it's just Midgar. 5 years for 1/10 of the original story. Going to be a while before we have the completed project.

2 Disks and it's only Midgar? That's insane... O_O

They did say when we first started seeing this project they're going to expand on characters/story so it sounded like they found a perfect reason to pad things out to justify being episodic content. Originally Posted by Kurokikaze

The gameplay looks absolutely amazing but I'm worried about the pace of the story now. Having two parts with Midgar filling one doesn't seem like a great idea, that second part has a massive amount of content and areas compared to the city.
Of course it's getting expanded but that's a whole lot of stuff and areas they have to create to fill a disc lol.
Also.. Red? he pretty much joins at the end when you're in the Shinra Building. He's either not playable at all or he joins earlier for whatever reason.

Tifa costume change is just the thigh highs? Skirt still seems original length short.

Pre-order is live. $320 for first class edition. Pretty fucking pricey. IDK if I wanna drop that much if you're not even promised the full game as it releases.

Ok so it's two discs for this first entry and it only takes place in Midgar. Man that was a confusing announcement.
At this pace we're gonna get this done in 20 years though.
