I can understand the skepticism towards action rpg route but when I was a kid i always thought how cool it would be to actually control Baretts gun arm, Tifas fists, Cids present day drg skills, red 13 himself. Thinking about it now.... Omfg Yes plz.

This has been giving me false wishfull thinking that they will actually make a true sequel to FFTactics. Ramza, TG cid and the rest were confirmed alive.

Ew no thanks. I do not want to be button mashing in final fantasy, ever! Bring back the ATB and they might appease me. Also fuck the worlds annoyance with movie style cutscenes, I enjoy being able to sit down and enjoy a good 5 min cinimatic movie. It doesnt need to be MGS 4 style with 20+ min but i do enjoy them

I dunno about this button mashing argument, I mean in typical RPGs you only ever press X after arduously selecting an option. Is one button being pressed over a longer timeframe button than one button being pressed over a shorter timeframe?

I mean if you're going to be obtuse about it go all out, because every game is a button masher, because that's what you do in games, you press buttons but apparently the speed of which you press them is important. Fucking lol

What business is it of yours? You could ignore me or counter but you choose to bitch at me instead of trying to make a point (which, I'd be surprised if you could). And if you consider that an attack you need far thicker skin. Or just getting away from the internet.

And I don't feel anything towards or against ATB if you do it right. I don't feel anything towards or against any battle system if it's fun, involving and requires some thought. But since FF7 isn't a smart game for battles (there's no puzzles/strategy, nothing to figure out, so having all the options means nothing) it should be interactive instead.
