This game is horrible on PC. KB/M is almost unplayable. I just don't find it fun or intuitive at all. I played a couple of alphas and felt the same. Hoped it would come around but it's just not fun. Classes aren't very balanced already with peacekeepers rolling almost everyone. Plus the face there's no dedicated servers and it's uplay makes me just not want to deal with it. Even if it was fun I don't see this game lasting. There's no reason to keep playing once you get bored. Unless they plan season/ladders ala d3/overwatch i dont see anyone playing after the first few weeks.

Game isn't fun imo. Didn't have that parry issue that others were talking about but even when I won duels there was no rush, just on to the next round. And 4v4 is such a trainwreck it shouldn't be in the game.

I dropped the game off my watch list after playing the first beta for 30 minutes. The training is enjoyable, the actual game modes filled me with rage.

dang guess i'm the outlier but when things were going right loved the beta. needs dedicated servers and leaderboards and a few balance tweeks but thought the core medieval fighting game experience was terrific, approachable but with enough depth for prolonged engagement. winning a hard-fought duel or desperately defending a control point 1v2 was about as rewarding as it gets.

There were a lot of streamers that were playing it that gave it some praise. You're not completely alone, just didn't seem to resonate with BG. I really wanted to like it. I like the idea of the combat, but I got too frustrated with what seemed like lost inputs to keep playing.

it do. there's a debate in the community between the two but i feel controller is the more intuitive fit and easier to begin with, but ultimately keyboard+mouse has the higher skill ceiling with more customizable keybinds and the lack of analog deadzones

Don't think Ghost Recon will be much better from what I've heard so far. But with the new Nvidia policy not letting you sell keys, you're fucked either way.

Yepper. Found out about it after I bought a 1080 to flip. Was heavily disappointed. Oh well. At least I can spend my free time killing Mexican drug lords because MURCA.

This is fun but its... like this is it?

Kind of how I feel after a few hours. Game has a decent amount of mechanical depth and it's a sort of weird hybrid between a (team) brawler and a Soul Calibur-like 3d fighter, but I'm not seeing the longevity here at all.

For what it's worth I'm enjoying Nobushi most (Samurai's poison spear gal) just because she's effectively not playing the same game everyone else is.

Also a pretty minor gripe but tutorial glossing over Abilities is pretty dumb.

edit: Actually the "advanced practice" tutorial which is easily missed covers a lot of pretty essential mechanics. Awesome.

And here I thought it was the lack of meaningful content that was gonna do this game in. Shame really. Underlying game is fun but it's not worth $60 and by the time you get it for less it'll be dead and netcode will still be awful.

Shoulda played beta. Bought this and traded it next day. Feel like controls are hot garbage. Bought farcry 4 used and played coop with a friend for like 3 hours instead.

Was gonna buy this because it looked like PvP dynasty warriors, but saw it was made by ubisoft and knew to take a pass. After playing the division and seeing how they handled that game, it'll take alot (or a large discount) for me to buy another ubisoft game.
