So do tutorials have to be done with the exact right weapon? I never did the Tripcaster one. Ended up selling my Tripcaster when I got a Carja Tripcaster. Will that work or does it need to be original Tripcaster?

The Carja should work. Just use the right ammo and you should be gold.

You can use the upgraded version of the weapon to knock out the tutorial for the weapon class like corrderio said, just need to make sure you have the tutorial active as a quest.

15/15 Blazing Suns and the free Shadow-tier Sling, Ropecaster, Warbow are nice, but don't unlock the tutorials associated with the actual Shadow weps.

So Corrupted Rockcrushers.... any advice on them other than accept death?

Finally got lucky. Freeze slingshot ammo + peppering the underbelly to make it blow up works if you're lucky and can get a decent shot.

Do corrupted also have harder armor? I couldn't do crap to remove the front/hind claws to prevent it from digging.

Not sure on harder armor, they definitely have more health so might just be that but i had that problem with em aswell so could just be a thing for the corrupted versions.

Finished yesterday and while i felt a little underwhelmed by the last boss(Granted i was pretty OP by then) overall i damn well enjoyed it, not 100%'d yet some side quests/collectables to do still but main story wasn't too bad but could probably of done a bit more with it i felt likewise with some of the side quests, overall i'd give it a 7/10 not perfect but definitely deserves a sequal even if just for more Aloy.

Or maybe some parts are immune? Seems weird tearblast was able to take off a lot of plates but spamming on the claws didn't do anything.

I really need to start hunting for the last of my shadow weapons/armor. Still wearing early armor so maybe that's why some of the corrupted are a living hell.

So Aloy was a clone of the Gaia AI in order to help stop the Hades protocol from fulfilling it's primary function of eradicating life in order to start over. One hell of a nice plot device even though I saw it coming

So with that said, how much would you say I have left in the main story?

It does say Expansion, not DLC. So I'm hopeful it's more like Dragon Age Awakening rather than a 2 hr subplot.

But yeah, anyway I did finish the game. Worth the money. Beautiful world, great story, and surprisingly simple, yet fun combat.
