Not sure what you mean here, you can set the bars that appear when you press L2+R2 at same time to any of your 8 bars, including ones that aren't toggled to when you tap R1. Should still be reasonably easy to set everything you use a lot to one bar for almost every class, especially if you make L2>R2 bring up a different bar to R2>L2.

Also taking a look at the potency of DRK Hate/DD combos and I don't know where SE was getting the idea that it would be between PLD and WAR damage. Basic hate combo has more potency than either PLD or WAR and they can keep Dark Side up while in tank stance to mitigate the damage loss. Warrior has Maim but Defiance lowers damage by 25% compared to the 20% of of Grit and unless I remember wrong the way damage reduction/increases work is .75*1.2=.9 for WAR and .8*1.15=.92 for DRK so DRK still comes out ahead.
Then take into account that if you Dark Arts Power Slash it has a further increased enmity bonus which could potentially allow you to use your DPS oriented skills more frequently such as Soul Eater with Dark Arts up for a 400 potency combo finisher. Soul Eater is part of the Syphon Strike combo so keeping up MP for Dark Arts (5s recast) shouldn't be that hard especially given all the other ways DRK has to generate MP.
I use two bars on my CHB, basically a toggle system so i can quickly switch between them with just one button press. I want to add more abilities to the l2+r2 that I don't already have on my first two bars, when I enable the function it counts it as a 3rd hotbar and my main two bars switch from a one button toggle to a 3 button push to get back to the first one![]()

I don't see how that's much different than how it works now. Cast time will most likely be the GCD which will also tick down while casting similar to spells. All it's really doing is forcing you to stand still while using abilities instead of being able to use them instantly then run around while waiting on recast. Effectively it's still only a 2.5s wait between weapon skills so DoTs ticking down whlie you wait for GCD will be the same as DoTs ticking down while waiting for charge time.
once you get dots up all you do is HS spam in WM, IJ as needed, Emp/Side are both oGCD so when up and SS as needed/proc'd. You basically eliminate WB/VB in your rotation after the initial and then get IJ+HS which is actually +90pot. (60+100 vs 100+150) So +1 HS every "rotation".
Yea, I don't get what ppl are thinking on cast times. It's just to stop you from moving and handicap you, it's doubtful the cast time is any different then the recast, which will be pretty quick once we look into how much better SkS is and 2.5s at max, which means your GCD is done ticking once your ws goes off anyways.
