No, haven't had that issue at all.
GCD timer is like 2.41 i think atm, was down to 2.39 for a min. I don't know if I would pull hate off my static or a good tank tbh but anytime I forget to quellling in a pug, RIP.

What food are you all normally using? Just started raiding with FC this weekend and I'm going wtf at the prices for level 60 food. It's literally going for 30k per. Started leveling my botanist and culinarian so I can eventually make my own...
It's mostly stupid people spending absurd amounts of money on level 60 food, you almost certainly do not have the stats to actually make use of it.
I just use Black Truffle Risotto still, nothing new is Crit/Det and it all has acc or sks which I don't need or want.
Mostly using lvl 60 food for the vitality, can't really recommend anything good for machinist, baked pipira pira is probably best?
I'm probably going to switch to baked pipira pira this week.
Even at i189 I think you have just enough CRT to make it a wash between pipira and truffle risotto, and I've missed a few shots when I have to pull Alarums.
You need 600 accuracy to get the full amount from Pipira, and if you have 600 accuracy already you're not missing the alarums.
You need 740 crit to get the full amount of crit, which you do not have.
Use Flint Caviar (hell, just use Apkallu Omelettes).
At the full amount of crit, pipira isn't a "wash" from risotto; it's better. Presuming that CRT and DET are roughly equal on MCH, risotto gives 14DET and 9CRT at cap (23 total). At 600CRT, you're getting 24 CRT from pipira.
You don't need to get the "full amount" from a dish in order for it to be better than the alternative. Flint caviar is good enough as long as you are under 650CRT (if you have the esoterics gun, you probably are over), and I don't know if flint caviar is even cheaper than baked pipira pira; if flint caviar isn't cheaper than baked pipira pira on your server then there no reason to EVER use it, as it is literally the-same-but-worse.
I'm going to pretend you didn't mention apkallu omelettes.
1) You're mixing NQ stats with HQ stats to make higher ilvl food sound better.
2) Apkallu Omelet gives 27 crit, but if you're getting 24 crit from Pipira that makes it worth using, ok.
Actually, every stat I cited was from xivdb, which are all NQ; I didn't mix and match. It's fair to object and say that we should be using HQ stats instead (because we should), so let's do that...
...and your Apkallu argument gets even worse. They are all CRT+5% HQ, so:
Apkallu- CRT+27 @540
Flint- CRT+33 @660
Pipira- CRT+34 @680 (cap is 37 @740)
No LV60 MCH should ever be using Apkallu, period; if you're low enough that flint/pipira isn't better, then you're also low enough that risotto is.
And just for completionists' sake, HQ risotto is DET+17/CRT+11; you get 29CRT @580 from flint/pipira.
In other news, we're talking less than 10 crit here, and thanks to our wonderful new stat weights, that's basically nothing.
Use whichever's cheapest / easy to make.
Correction use whatever that gives you most hp, to avoid random deaths due to missplaced shielding or personal mistake
Do we have any idea if skill speed effects turret attack speeds like it does for normal pets?
After initial opener with GaussRound up - are you all keeping that up the entire time, or are you stance dancing, or are you completely leaving it off until next CD burst is up?
Stance dance unless your GCD timer is 2.39 (maybe 2.41, idr the magical number) but mine was 2.39 for awhile.
What's special about 2.39?
looking it up and it's 2.41
here is the math
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...RuUIQC03Q/edit
As I read it, that document says that at 225 (pre-multiplier!) potency, you need a GCD of 2.41 for GB to be better than no-GB. But MCH's average potency is FAR less than that.
The average expected base potency of a MCH 3-shot series is 155:
Spoiler: show
So taking the formula from the document:
(1.674 GCD / 3) * 100 = 55.8 AA pot
155 * 1.638 = 253.89 GB+"Split" potency
(155 * 1.26) + (55.8 * 1.05) = 253.89 "Split"+AA potency
That would mean that the break-even point for stance dancing is at a GCD of 1.674 (i.e. not gonna happen). So it looks like there's no real point in chasing SKS, as you'll still be stance dancing regardless.
I'm not a math major so I'm certainly open to correction.
all the math is already there not gonna bother
