So who's this Preds defenseman the Leafs signed?

He's an upper tier AHL forward who is capable of being productive on the 4th line in the NHL. Grinder with some talent; he scored two goals in our 9-2 game against you last year

We clearly "lost" the trade from a value perspective (Devane will never see the NHL in NSH), but have a huge logjam at forward (Watson, Fiala, Leipsic, Sissons, etc.) and couldn't risk getting stuck with a one-way contract from arbitration. We may regret this someday, but Beck's ceiling is definitely no higher than reasonably productive 3rd liner.

The white skin actually hurts my eyes, personally. I don't get why people try to one-up each other based on posts-per-page settings or which skin you use, like seriously let people have their preferences. When people make repeated posts about inferior/superior settings it just raises my hackles like ... who really gives a flying fuck what someone else does with their forum browsing experience?

IIRC the green dot is a thread you're subscribed to. If I were to guess, you turned off auto subscribe when your notifications exploded with that one forum update. Case and point, I have no green dot on this thread. Been too lazy to manually subscribe.
