NHL Offseason Thread: Plugged Up Cat Butts and Unknown Russians

[BadKarma]

I could see him getting 5 - 5.5 maybe.

I don't think he's worth as much as McDonagh but then again he signed a sweetheart deal.

Depends who ??? is, but vid possibly related

Ottawa

So it's toronto then Boston then ottawa( next day Pittsburgh) then to Montreal for the rangers

[NynJa]

In that case
Fuck em all
None of em are cool

[Obsidian]

5 is pushing it for Hamilton.

[Richybear]

I'm anxious to see what the Rangers pull in for talbot

I heard earlier that they turned down Marincin (decent young D-man) and #33 overall from Edmonton.
But once again, rumors are everywhere with all 30 GMs in a 5 foot radius, so who knows

[Richybear]

"Yessss! We got Buffalo's first roun.... shit, it's #21"

[Ratatapa]

I wonder if Kessel will be traded tonight, like alot of rumors says he will

[Aksannyi]

I hear Canucks are looking to trade Lack and Bieksa.

If this is a Valisk, sorry. I've been out of town.

[BadKarma]

Everyone saying the goalie market is soft and then buffalo makes a trade like that lol.

52!!!!!! Farewell.

[synistar]

Tofolli re-signs with the Kings. 2 years @ $3.25m cap hit ($2.6m then $3.9m the following). Good bridge contract. I guessed the terms to be in the $3-4m range on a short contract.

[Brill Weave]

Please God Rutherford do not trade for Phil Kessel.

[Richybear]

Chia Pet said he's not gonna deal the other first rounder for a goalie.
Though tbh, it's more defense that they need. We could have Carey Price and make him look awful when he has to make 15 saves before a puck almost gets cleared away to the hash marks.

[Obsidian]

Please God Rutherford do not trade for Phil Kessel.

Yeah why would you want one of the league's best scorers on your team?

I don't want him traded because A) he's elite, whether you like it or not, and B) any deal we make is likely to have us retain salary which is retarded for the quality of player that Phil is.

I think its more of what the pens would have to give up, theyre kinda thin of prospects and depth as it is.

[Richybear]

I could see him thriving in Pittsburgh a bit more though
a) Crosby and Malkin > anyone Toronto could even think of playing with Phil
b) That's Sidneytown. Phil won't be the centre of the universe anymore, so less pressure on him. It's not the media microscope of Leaf Nation

It's just a case of what it would take to make that deal get done, and obviously how the salary shit will work out, since most teams would wanna TO to retain some of it.
He'd be their smarter trade bait value-wise, since the only other name being brought up is Princess Pylon and... no.

Fuck. I hear 2 second rounders for Talbot. If someone offered that for Lack. I'd take that.

For such high value these goalies have little experience, except for Lack.

[Wulfgang]

Hurray for the offseason and hurray for re-signing Fisher; love that guy*

*Including awesome wife

[bluefan]

Coyotes dangling that third overall and Jets one of the teams that inquired about it. Apparently Coyotes brass have 3 offers they're taking another look at.

Headed to the Jets draft party in the renovated building across the MTS Centre tonight, looks nice. Also we're celebrating me getting a new job with the same company with the people I'm going with tonight, woo.
