My view on the Kane shit is super simple:

Ignore the issue right now considering no charges have been filed and no conviction made. If charges are filed and he's found innocent, pretend this shit never even happened because it didn't. If he's found guilty, then fuck him. Whatever happens to him he deserves.

Kane's only like 26 isn't he? Yeah the $10.5mil cap hit hurts now but over the 8 years, the cap will rise, the team will restructure (like they always do) and they'll be competitive as fuck for years to come. He'll be hitting his prime right in the middle of this contract and right when it ends will be when he starts his decline.

Toews and Kane are the 1-2 punch on that team (Toews being the obvious #1). Will they be a good team without Kane? Yeah I think so, but I don't think they'll ever be as good as they could be without the two of them together.

This is all speculation based on him being innocent of course. If he is guilty, then fuck him and fuck his career and fuck any chance of him playing professional hockey again.

I think hes done in the NHL. Lawyers already saying that with what he has on him it doesnt look good at all.

I feel you there. I can't really talk shit about people who double post because I do it sometimes (usually in the NHL threads as the action is happening), but it's spectacularly obnoxious when it's someone you don't like.
