    Best: Wireless Gaming Headset

What is your opinion on the best wireless gaming headsets? I currently have a headset that I love but it's unfortunately getting worn out, battery isn't lasting as long, charging port getting finicky, and so on. I'm looking for something that has: a retractable/movable mic, wireless, good sound & microphone quality, and of course a good price.

    My current headset

I'm looking for something under $150. I can't justify spending any more on a headset. I've read tons of reviews but all of them seem to be conflicting and have weird features that I don't care about or make me not want it. For example, the Corsair headsets look pretty dope but you can't adjust the microphone.

    Open to any suggestions!

I have these and I really like them: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826816037

The mic moves up and out of the way, they're wireless, the sound is pretty damn good (though not audiophile quality obviously) and the mic is really good. Price is awesome for what you get.

I haven't tested the battery from full to dead, but I've had marathon Dota 2 sessions that were 5+ hours each, back to back to back with a little charge time in between. So the battery is pretty good.

(And yes, the mic IS adjustable. It's bendable to an extent.)

Always heard good thing about Astro A40's in terms of wireless headsets with good sound quality.

Been using a Logitech G930 for more than 3 years now and it can still survive 8+ hours game sessions even if the low battery notification tells me for 3 hours straight that there's only 1 hour left (yes I abuse the fuck out of it). If by retractable you mean move it out of the fucking way yes it does that and it also mutes itself when doing so.

The sound quality is very nice and I can usually walk 30-ish feet away before losing connection or have it do weird Atari noises.

Other things that are nice about it is that you can mute it directly on the headset (perfect for taking a shit) and you can keep using it while charging it. I had a few headsets that went offline while you were charging them and it's really annoying. With this one if I stay in range with a long usb cable or use a cellphone battery charger while walking around. The noise isolation in the headphones is better than anything I ever had but can be annoying when someone is trying to speak to you during a lan.

In the other thread of the same topic, three of us recommended Sennheiser. http://www.bluegartr.com/threads/125...ead-set-Advice

I went out and bought this headset based on your recommendation. The audio is great, and the distance is crazy. I'm able to walk downstairs and still stream audio no problem. There is one thing though that I'm wondering about. For some reason the headset just switches off from time to time with no warning. Im watching a movie lets say, and every 15mins or so it switches off. Any idea why it does that?

Hmm... make sure you have the latest drivers and disabled any kind of power saving stuff.
