did with pug group yesterday... got to 10%.....

how the fuck can we make more dps?!?!?!?!? it was 69% after phase 2, so it seem DPS is in check

prolly need alot alot alot more used to last phase to push out DPS numbers...

also the pug used LB3 caster for boss + hands. is that more efficient than LB3 boss you think?

as for last phase debuffs, out of all the various ways the pugs do it for now, since no standard way has been established yet, i think the best way to do it is:
1. tank who got it, go right below boss and wait
2. DPS who didnt get debuff, goes right under boss to wait
3. DPS who got damage down debuff, stay wherever they are and dps the shit out of boss
4. both healers go to the DPSs and grab debuffs/exchange

If it was 69% was after phase 2, does seem like dps is in check, maybe execution + bad cd usage last phase? not confortable enough? Tank positioning can cockblock people a fair bit, so you might look into that, how was the tank positioning in that pug?

positioning was always infront of a puddle for tanks, im leaning towards uncomfortable yet i guess

i kinda focus a little more on gimmick than my actual rotation tbh

Once I went in with a PUG and after Faust the MNK, on TeamSpeak, yelled "Fuck yeah 1400 dps. I'm so good". I filtered it out to Faust only and his real dps was closer to 900. He then proceeded to parse 600 on oppressor.

I hope my new static can get some shit done. Getting kinda' bored.

Anyway..... Does anyone who follows this stuff have any update on the top groups progress on A4? How far are people getting, what are the walls?

People are having issues surviving. One group was saying they had all 8 members spec 35 points into vit and are still unable to live through certain mechanics. So A4S right now seems like a defensive/HP gear wall.

I could see PLD being really good based on the stream I've watched. The add was causing lots of trouble but PLD can sheltron a hit and clemency when HP gets low. The add is a tank swap though but WAR will have Equilibrium/2nd wind.

Divine veil would be good for the lazers (5 go out) but I never saw past the second leg to see any new mechanics.

I'd be lying if I didn't debate making a full VIT gear macro just to pop pre-pull divine veils and then quickly swap to my regular shit before actually engaging. It seems like the issue is more fucking everything in A4 and not one specific thing though. If it was a singular predictable occurrence I'm sure people would just blow through it with every mitigation known to man.

Ever since I first did Alex normal I couldn't help but get the sneaking suspicion that the reason Alex goes untargetable before using Mortal Rev is to prevent reliable use of virus/disable/rend mind.

But really, the moment PLD got Sheltron/Veil and AST got Disable (and it wasn't mutually exclusive with Virus) it was pretty clear that certain kinds of attacks/incoming damage patterns would no longer be happening.

ie. We'll probably never see a Flatten ever again.

Must be that random ray beam move. If it was a huge AoE attack seems like you could prepare for it with mantra/conv/adloq/deployment

Yep, Sheltron pretty much capped enemy design. Because of balance we will never see another single hit physical tank buster during the 60 cap. (later they could give DRK/WAR the sheltron equivalent)

You can still keep them on, but your timing needs to be fantastic.

Anyone else having problems with the lag in A3S instances? For some reason or another we have had people d/c and casts being interrupt in there for a second week a row now.
