I'm questioning the accuracy cap on A1S, I have 593 acc on mnk and I attacked accidentally oppressor on front and missed.
Reddit says accuracy cap on front is 580 maybe they take in account the accuracy bonus on tank stance?
how are you not missing with 545 on turn 3
i missed with 632
did you not at all attack the boss from front even during shared damage? did you justs imple look away so as not to gimp ur acc?
thats just not possible
edit: nvm you meant caster, i have no idea how much they need, forgive me
3 chocobo pugs cleared AS3
im fucking fucked
How is that that you can PUG 4 DPS on Chocobo and have all 4 be good enough to meet the A3S dps check.... but when I try the same thing on Sargatanas for A1S I get an average dps of 750 with many dropping to 600... and only 1 in 10 able to maintain 800 over the course of the fight before we wipe at 15% enrage. Let's not even talk about 900+; that requires a kind of focus unfathomable for the majority of players on my server.
Had I realised sooner that dps was going to be the hardest job in the game this patch I would have played MNK.
NA servers are < JP servers. Duh.
Because JP players are less selfish then NA. What I mean is JP players know that if you fuck up you waste 7 people's time, so they try not to be bad and they are doing good, usually JP pugs seems to take critic better, while NA is just
'Relax it's just a game, it's my 12,99 I have a life you bitch' all that stuff
Pride is the answer.
You mean JP have more pride then NA?
It's the whole NA community, shit wsa the same on Hyperion (Primal), NA people doesn't like beeing told they suck on the internet, and doesn't believe in the 'Dude this isisn't a single player game, if you suck you waste 7 other's time) When I tell them that they just answer, "Well just quit if you're not happy"
It also happens on Ragnarok (and the whole Chaos-European cluster). It has to be a western mentality flaw, strenghtened by the fact that Duty finder makes you pretty much anonymous, so those who can't give a damn, thet won't have to face the consequences of a bad reputation, either. For all the things that were wrong or just plain antiquated in FFXI, that's one thing that forced at least some people to get better: playing only with the people on your server, and only through direct invite made your reputation much more important.
"Get better... or level bard!"
You're semi wrong, Pugs in this game is simple (and I think i'm a good exemple)
If you tell people they are bad, you are automaticly a dick or an elitist
So for pugs in XIV they will always prefer a gimp but gentle player, then a strong player with a dickish attitude
and XI was the opposite iirc, it didn't mather how dickish you were, till you pulled your weight, people took you
