For content that is inferior to Alexander Savage in difficulty and ilvl equipment with the main draw being the eso upgrade items on a weekly lockout so people who don't touch actual content will be able to gear.

Speaking of 3.1, think they mentioned a format change, like only 2 dungeons instead of 3+ and combining smaller updates into a larger one.

Imagine if XIV required you to carry around 95% of your inventory slots in equipment plus 4% of your inventory slots in food/reraise/whatever.

Unless there is something crazy going on in A4S that requires ridic tank HP, Fending accessories are by far the worst drops in Alexander/game.

Finally got my A1S clear! Missed the first two weeks after my static blew up and spent the 3rd week gearing up a freshly returned friend/MNK. We went through 4 different tanks and had to PUG a MCH, but he's dead.

We got extremely lucky, we killed the 0.5 when the Opressor still was at 5% but he decided to use Photo cannon which delayed his self destruct just long enough to kill him.

I saved 2 fending accessories from the ground so far on the off chance that... maybe one day I'll need them, but I sure as fuck won't be using them any time soon! We've had an alright spread with the exception of caster stuff though (which we've got zero of). We lost a DEX accessory to a rando we had fill in one night which is unfortunate, but our NIN has gotten 3 pieces already so I don't feel too bad about it. Both our healers have got stuff as well as our DRG, us tanks are getting screwed for now but I'm not too worried about it, I'd rather DPS get pieces for now since there's no obscene HP checks on tanks so far. Grats on your clear Taint! I hope you have better luck with A2 as far as rotating members go, that fight is open to way more different ways of handling waves so having new people come in and having to re-teach them everything can be a pain, especially if it's a tank or car driver. Our old WAR had to take a break from the game to focus on school and he wound up giving our replacement a 48 page dissertation on what to do on every wave and it only seemed to serve to confuse him!

Grats Taint on clear. I figured you were already nearing end of AS3 at this point.

I too know the feel of static woes. We've cleared AS2 twice, but such little luck at getting a hand on 3 yet (no pun intended). We've gone through so, so many different dps players since Heavensward and 2 healers. Our ast left us literally the day or 2 before Savage. Guess that was for the best with the state of Ast currently based on this thread, although he was a very skilled player on his own merit.

I have no idea what you're supposed to do, but I think once it's figured out it won't be as bad. The real difficulty is dealing with the entire fight to that point just to test theories.
