Also you forgot the famous "Disco ball" in turn 2, which is the same principle people are bringing up for lucrezia's tactic now
some feel its cheating, but some feel "because SE didnt fix it, its fine"
mixed community now
hell even my static got people saying, "idc wat we do, just clear it so we can all gather just 1 day instead of 5-7"
i havent never seen anyone do that lol, same as raffle LoS tactic, never seen it before in any pug (i got 3 mule back then so 3 x pugs a week)
Ifrit one let you go single healer with that method, but imo it wasn't popular, and you wouldn't see that in JP because NA are cheap.
and tbh the Ifrit LOS thing was as hard imo to do as the Ultros/Typhoon Jumping trick in the Trial (btw did JP find that as cheating?)
Honestly if SE hasn't fixed it (and they've known about these kills for weeks, since they can watch internally) it means they know they fucked up. I assume their thought process went like this:
"Well no one is going to kill 6 people to Royal Pentacle just to avoid juggling Nisi..."
Then players figure out you can run through 2 before dying each due to server lag, making it only 3 people.
As such, they probably won't fix it just like they didn't fix turn 2 because it's their fault. I still have no idea why they fixed Turn 12 bane bug though, and then they embrace it in A2S, lol.
I though they didn't fix T2 because we were near the end of First coil?
I'm pretty sure the vuln effect in T12 was absurd and it pretty much cut off multiple bennus for you....
5 to 4*?
And the difference between 5 bennus and 4 is....a pretty massive difference.
Because that's not massively easing both a mechanic and a DPS check.
If you read my original post you'll see that I am comparing how T2 enrage went unfixed, but T12 bane exploit was fixed ASAP. The point is one makes the fight easier, but you still have to do the fight. With T2 enrage, it literally invalidates all mechanics. I'm just confused as to why SE drew the line for one but not the other, ya know?
By the time T2 enrage was discovered and made possible by gear the fight was old news anyway, T12 exploit was used by the first groups to clear.
Sacing Royal Pentacle was used by the first groups to clear A4S. If they haven't patched it/aren't going to patch it it's going to feel like SE's sense of judgment in terms of what should/shouldn't be fixed is ridiculously all over the place.
You're just now realizing this?
I'm just bitching about it, that's all. It's disappointing that they're obviously not testing all of the fights. So far they've been decent about learning from their mistakes, it's just disappointing that it happened on the final fight of the first expansion tier (especially considering how much of an amazing fight A3S was). I'm not blaming the groups at all, they did what they had to do. The blame rests entirely on SE for this one.
You're probably right.
