Anyone beat AS3 without a brd or mch?
Thank you Cairthenn
yup, have cleared it with double mnk double blm as well
but again this was a 1 chest clear for some people, most had already downed it before so it's not like it was done as progression with no brd or something. that'd be a bit intense I imagine.
Yeah its gonna be rough <.<
Learning fights without BRD/MCH just feels like it'd be a gigantic waste of time. A3S is hard enough without giving yourself extra handicaps.
I mean not much we can do, we got through a1 and a2 without one, just have to find the tricks to keep up mana and w should be fine.
For throttle in A3S, do you have healers split up? Or have one healer do them all
I have one healer do them.
SE.. I solved the tether problem!
Get rid of that hitbox crap. It doesn't work outside of a LAN environment.
A is the tornado.
B is location of tethered player previous position, C is new tethered player position.
D is players previous position, E is new players position.
Consult with any high school student to find the formula to see if that line intersects with the triangle.
Done, you guys can pay me by leveling my dragoon to 60. You're welcome.
always figured triple melee was viable, and should be so much easier on checks. Thanks for the confirmation :D
I'm pretty sure if one melee (or double ninja for goad at this point lol) to sit out for carnage zero, nisi, tethers whatever for a few sec quad melee could work too. I'd imagine they'd burn legs so fast that tp won't almost be an issue.
A4 is really just like a big brother of avatar imo.
or just go mch+3 melee for optimal setup I guess
couldnt you just run 3 blm for a4s and a bard.
3 brd and 1 blm, to make the dps leaderboard.
Edited: NVM, figured it out.
Since there seems to be general misinformation on the topic of Mortal Revolution and mitigation in A4S that I have read in other places due to it being not magic but "Fire" damage I believe, I figured I would post here. It seems things like Dragon Kick do actually help simply because it's INT-10%, while magic reduction moves like Fey Covenant don't. Things like Soil/Galvanize and Storm's path since they are still straight damage reductions also work.
Kept reading people saying the only things that work were Soil/Galvanize, which we found out is not true when we kept dying due to DK/Delirium falling last second while he was untargetable.
