EU servers move made a huge difference for passing the debuffs. The debuff passes fine even with people moving around now.

Don't forget our quality ISPs and aging infrastructure.

Certainly made a difference on my end and my group. Don't get me wrong, it was certainly do-able previously, but it is a lot more responsive on the new servers, and you won't get seconds of someone sat on top of you with no debuff swapping post patch - it will swap nearly instantly

It was inconsistant. Nowadays you just have to cross path even though none of the players stand still.
Before, you literally had to go to a spot, stand still like 1 or 2 sec and then the debuff was passed.

That's... how it works for NAs too? That is how all hot potatoe mechanics work in this game... It's not an EU thing only, sorry. This is why people sat still for passing rot in Turn 2...

that's not how it's supposed to be, and not how it is anymore for EU, is his point. it's SUPPOSED to be just run into each other. in reality, you have to stand still. unless you live in JP or EU, now, since they actually have decent infrastructure and servers.

I didn't say it wasn't an NA thing when I initially posted about it. I was talking about my experience on the EU servers before the server move and after the server move.

And to be honest, I found T2 rot passing far more responsive than pre-servers AS3 passing. But that could be me misremembering as i've not done it for 18 months or so

Eh, passing Digititis always felt exactly like passing Brand or Rot to me

As I said, i've not done T2 in ages - may try and get some people to do it again this weekend for nostalgia's sake, but I always thought Rot would pass far quicker than passing Digititis was. Hard to fathom that it was 18 months - 2 years ago.

What I wanna know is why the mucus breaking in Void Ark is responsive and you can sprint through it and have it break every time in my experience but if you try and do that shit with any sort of tether or passing mechanic in this game it never fucking works.

I had the same thought the other day. I bet it is because the mucus roots the two connected players where as tethers you have multiple moving people.

SE is going to read this and come to the conclusion that the appropriate solution is to make tethers root people. which, to be fair, is actually the only thing i can think of that they can do short of making more NA data centers, which they're obviously not gonna do

Tempest Wing proved that the developers are capable of making tethers that transfer instantly and aren't hindered by movement. I've always assumed the "unresponsive" nature of the T8/A3S tethers was very much by design.

Most likely, A3 tethers are still easy as hell to grab tho.

We have one tank take each side. WAR uses Vengeance and runs into a set, DRK uses Shadowskin + Dark Mind (because a missile happens somewhere after they eat the second orb). Make the WAR eat 3, the DRK eats 2 then runs back to boss.

If you were on AST you could just use Bole on yourself and do it
