Computer location is messed up. Help!

Greetings,

I am not sure when this happened,but I probably noticed it haphazardly a week or so ago, and it really came to my attention this morning.

Somehow, my computer browser location is way off. It shows me as being hundreds of miles north of my actual location. By this, I mean if I type in say: Target, Weather Underground, Home Depot etc into a search engine instead of showing me stores or weather near me, its reporting that I live in a totally different city.

I've done some online searching to try and remedy this but I am not having much luck. Only real change is a new router, could perhaps there be a setting there I'm missing?

I have the same problem. Randomly my location is now the Baltimore area, but I live in Michigan. I contacted Comcast about it and they said to reset the modem and router. Of course it didn't work. I'm moving soon so we'll see if it changes. Sorry I can't be any real help.

Feels like it is a cookie issue. Have you tried clearing cookies and setting your location manually?
