I'd also like to point out, that doing this with BSTs is SUPER slow. It takes 20minuites+ with a BST party, were as with a mage party, our record stands at 5 minuites for all 5 NMs cleared. We've never not cleared it with the mage party, but the NM's spam Amnesia. This Means for 90% if the time the BST can't even use their own weaponskills anyways.
Plus, if you fail to stun the naarkul, pets will die. And if you get Sajj'Aka, your pushing your luck! I know it's possible but with 6BSTS? or 5BSTs 1 GEO. That will be tough.

What's the gimmick for hair down Arciela? When we first encountered her we tried every element and she was taking extremely low magic damage so we defaulted into melee killing her. From your post it sounds like there's a way to deal full magic damage to her, which would be way less painful than melee killing and praying Wopket doesn't show up to ruin our fun.

I noticed that on August the Daybreak move he uses that give him the wings looks like it takes longer than No quarter. so maybe the key is to stop that one. Daybreak he pulls out the flute and plays it, so silence or something dark related since its "Day"break?

Did it with 2 SCH GEO WHM BRD PLD a couple of times. Pretty much anything can be nuked with FIRE albeit a lot of stuff just eats everything like Ingrid. I have however not met hair down Arciela yet

Awesome, thanks. good to know! We had nuking issues on Arciela, and Teodor was a bit of a pain. Fire's a good shout!

Yes, Magic Burst her, she has too phases. "Coordinate magic burst during her dark phase, as her magic evasion is much more manageable." (The guy who wrote this is in our group).
Basically she uses an abillity called Descenasion. This is when you want to nuke.

About stacking for August.
With a JP part now, Unless you have FULL HP. This happens.

With PLD BST BST GEO COR WHM it takes us an average of 7 minutes <_>. 20 minutes? Lol.

What's the status of the buffs and BSTs? Just trying to get an idea here, but guessing the GEO is doing EVA- bubbles, and the BSTs use Acc gear?

Oh lord no. If your BSTs have ACC problems on 130 content you honestly should be sending them to a CP camp, not an event. Idris Frailty + Beast/Drachen + Akamochi + High ATT Normal ACC gear sets. Tickling Tendrils with BoG or Ecliptic up averages around 11~13k for me.

Summoners pretty much destroy all the NMs, unfortunately every random lolBST we've brought can't land a single ready move on anything

Smooth fight no matter what. I end up tanking every NM from about 50-60% to dead which is par for the course for us for 130 content. The only time I can't keep up with healing is when we kill the white dragon too fast and he just spams that 90% HP move, but since it can't actually kill you, it's not a problem. Same thing happens with Arciela II, that's the only enemy where my pet has ever died and it happened from killing too fast so you get 0 break between Naakuuls and I couldn't get my pet to the center fast enough to avoid MM.

Edit: Flower bitch can cast Break that lasts FOREVER if you get unlucky / kill slow / whatever. I just release and summon new pet. Not worth waiting.

I honestly hadn't even thought about ACC issues until reading this page but it does sorta make sense. Reminds me of people bringing like 12 BST to Escha T3 whale and timing out cuz they can't land shit. "What do you mean I can't just get 5/5 Acro with random augments on it and go to events?"

That's what happens when you read the OF and believe the people saying omg bst is totally too OP and needs to be nerfed because it can destroy any high level content with only addon legs, charmers and 119 axe and maybe a geo. Then you go to basically any event harder than skirmish and reality introduces you to pavement.

Any tips on Arciela T3? It seems to do crap for magic damage even with Indi-Focus and Geo-Languor. Need to have high accuracy.

These new battles are EXTREMELY difficult by the way.

She has 2 Phases, a dark magic phase and a Light magic Phase, her Light magic phase means she has Ridiculous Magic defense. Dark phase (He hands will be black), is when you want to nuke.

I've won every fight I've been on as SMN. Is this really giving people trouble? I thought this even was easy compared to most.

Things are only as hard as you make them. Used No Quarter twice, both times it hit for full damage. Still zero danger. 17:39 trio.

Edit: For what it's worth, this is the melee-friendly content people have been clamoring for for months I'm pretty sure. Seeing all these posts about mage strugs and with how little danger there is it just screams melee.
