Lately I've been working on afterglowing my Murgleis and now I'm going to have to go spam those CP to 1200. After that I think I will go look at the list on FFXIAH to see what is left to be solo'd. I know another RDM has been doing some phenomenal solos on those VD avatar fights and Shadowlord VD fight.

But the problem is its not about throwing more pets on it... its more of throwing the right pets at it... I've been in PTs where its full of bsts and all the pets are all fucked up and the mobs don't die as efficiently or the BST don't have JP or gear up to par...

its like Blu if you don't have Job points up to Trait +1 you'll never be as good as those who do. If anything Sch is pretty fucking op can skill chain and help the pt as a whole.

I would imagine except for August and Arciela II you could get away with BLU + something. There's about 0% chance of you doing Arciela II with that comp though.

Doing BLU + x sovereign reign as a duo? The instant death moves are what come to mind. But fuck I don't know shit about BLU, maybe you can make it work with reraise.

yeah, i got once achuka with hurkan together (which was an instant death for me on geo with the weakened effect of achuka) followed instantly by shark. was fun... since then I keep vex up which makes none of them an issue ¬.¬

Smallest group I've done to beat these was RUN SCH BRD, though adding a GEO later helped speed things up tremendously. I'm 100% sure that any job could contribute to this event in a meaningful way. Melees would want to sub RUN since a vast majority of attacks are magic and usually the same element by boss.

If you're having trouble with adds... try bringing a RDM with a good DT set. They can hold (or even kill the adds by themselves) while still providing enfeebles on main and support to the rest of the party.

or a SCH to AoE Sleep. They are immune to light based sleeps from what i've seen.

Not everybody uses pets, so when people are talking about a possible gimmick for melee/mage oriented strats maybe don't have to force your BST crap everywhere.

Nothing, I've been doing all of them fine with a delve type setup. Around 10m clears or so.

Don't have to upgrade escha pants for refresh on blu now!
