Anyone have any info on Palila? or is it fairly standard? Looking to see what I could get away with for killing it without throwing pets at it.

Palila takes MASSIVE amounts of earth damage. Let PLD pop it so all adds are glued to him then nuke it dead from out of AoE range. Very easy T2 this way, the UNM for the pops is harder.

All T2 are super easy if you let PLD pop. If you want hard mode, let one of your DD pop Palila like we did the first 2x.

Anyone know a good place to get Serica Cloth for the hexed gear that makes Kaykaus set? FFXIDB lists the mobs from Whom Wilt Though Call as dropping it, but I just tried it quite a few times and it doesn't seem to want to drop. So was wondering if anyone knows a good spot to get it and the difficulty in obtaining it. Thank you.

That listing you see from DB is only during KCNM campaign... which I think is going on right now. It drops from I think all the KCNM fights but not at a great rate and they drop all legion/vw synth items so getting the 1 you want is less likely. Like after doing a couple hundred I had a total of around 15 between the what 5?

I believe it also can be rarely found in the campaign ops during the campaign campaign which is going on right now too iirc. But again meh rate

The real source though is from Provenance. I say real because the others are only during special campaigns. Not sure how hard it is these days probably pretty easy since it's lvl 99 content at ilvl 119 plus the recent changes made it easier. Of course you need access and have the whatever it is accumulated to enter the fights. And being Caturaes the fights will be annoying regardless

For the whale adds they will be glued to the PLD for a while and then use BERSERK. Once Berserk is used they will start to hunt some random poor guy in your ally and have their way. We usually slept them after that with an MACC boosted BRD or BLM.

Kill order seems to be always (?) Clinoid > Limule > Murex > Amoeban (3/3 or 4/4 kills with this order for us). NM has a strong DT when adds are alive.
