For what it's worth, I unlocked level 4 of the refresh vorseal earlier today. I've long since lost track of how many times I've killed the wyrms though.

Here I am thinkin you meant last month and I somehow missed those notes. But you meant 2006. Man I was thinkin how did i miss that!

Tells a lot about how much time has passed since the last time SC+MB have been this relevant in game.

The first time you kill them you unlock the first level. The second level unlock at 5 kills iirc, and I think the third unlocks at 10. I lost count though, so I don't know if the 4th unlocks at 15.

Do only "kills" count, or successful participation in the event? If anybody knows altough I doubt anyone carefully checked stuff like this.

I'm quite sure, that just like getting gear drops from them, you have to be there when they die to unlock the vorseals.

It's quite strange that you get nothing for successful participation though.
I wonder if that's one of the things they will change in the future, like giving Silt or XP/CP for all successful participations in the event, wether you kill it or not.

Oh btw dunno if it was reported but I got that HP/MP/Acc/Macc ring from the dragon in Zi'tah.

Doing Ru'Aun Jorm a few times has now unlocked level 2 Refresh. Sorry if this is old news to anyone.

Are we talking about the event Wyrm? or the T3 you manually pop??

NQ body/hands/legs*/feet are best in slot for pure damage as it is, which I think people are catching onto now, because NQ are selling pretty fast off AH for the easier to get abj. pieces.

*28-30(?) MAB augment on hago. legs edge out nq amalric, but gil would be better spent towards HQ amalric than trying for that rare of an augment.

Now the fun part with HQ: add up the extra MAB from those 4 pieces. 20 extra from augments, 4 from 1 extra per HQ and +40 from the set bonus... that's 64 extra MAB more than the already very impressive NQ pieces. To put that in perspective, that's roughly the same amount of MAB from an Idris Acumen.

Which of the T1s - is the easiest to kill for a PLD+BSTx2 if we just wanna farm eschalixirs?

Why not just farm Zi'tah T1s for that, instead of Ru'aun T1s?

Bcause popspot are closer to NPC in ru and i wanna look out for the Wyvre event POP cause im trying to get the refresh vorseals and lastly because i wanna try something new

The non-Catuare are all pretty simple to own for BSTs but maybe the Ixion. Farming NQ and +1 lixirs sounds horribly inefficient tho. Should find ppl and turn plutons into +2 in Zitah and then roll around in your beads for more +2.

You don't get nothing, you get 2 eschalixirs and a chance at gear drops.

Any speculation on what else might grant vorseals? Abyssea completon, atma of the savior, max fame in various areas, 100% quest completion, missions.

There's a lot of possibilities.

I have Abyssea completion, Atma of the Savior, Max fame in every area, 100% done on all missions, and pretty close to that on quests but I totally did not pay attention to vorseals when Escha first came out, so not sure if it did give me some. I guess I should double check my vorseals list, and compare.
