I got multiple just farming aerns/phaubos + NMs so I don't think so.

Regen/refresh are 1>5>10>20>40>? kills, and spoils/hp+mp seem to be something similar, as the rank-ups take longer and longer. If t6 hp+mp took x total slit/mob kills/RoE completions/whatever it is, I would expect t7/8 to be 2x/4x.

Yeah same almost those ones exactly since tend to be open (at least for Ru'ann). Well I tend to avoid Ghrah but yeah I started Ru'ann with basically 0 slit and doing mostly murex, clinoid, aern and some shark as well as making sure to do each at least once has netted me nothing. If something came from just doing 1 or 2 solo I already got it before Ru'ann came out

Possibly. One of the NM's people seem to place a 'spoils' vorseal on is the Despair Helm mob in Zitah. I had spoils 2 and finally got around to killing it a couple of weeks ago. It didn't increase to spoils 3 after I killed it but then I killed it two more times directly afterwards and it unlocked a new spoils seal after the third kill. Of course a more terrifying theory is that a certain mob gives a %chance to unlock a seal. Another variation could be "Need to kill X number of NMs AND this one specific NM" so the seal could potentially unlock for people at different times.

Or maybe you have to proc the NM with red !!, white !! whatever to get the vorseal.

I mean there must be some reason behind being able to proc NMs in Escha.

Proccing does various things depending on NM. Sometimes resets levelups, sometimes terrors NM, etc

Where is the JP list for vorseals?

I didn't do anything interesting lately except clear the Incursion final boss and now I have a level of Def unlocked.

JP Wiki has 7/8 things for Defense:
4 NMs in Escha
Bonds of Mythril
Bastok Missions
One Escha mission

So killing the Incursion boss might be #8.

the JP wiki says you need to do https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/To_Kill_Mocking_Birds to get one of the MAB vorseals. The page on BG wiki says the quest is complete when you talk to Nantoto after killing Yag High Preist, but you have to talk to Duberasson and get access to the subsequent quests in order to unlock the Vorseal.

Killed all Incursion bosses
Completed Bonds of Mythril (WotG Bastok missions)

and I'm at 6/6

Thanks for the link, although my JP isnt as good as it used to be. I have level 4 Def, as I never did any Bastok Missions (did the old ones), and I dont do a lot of Escha NMs (solo life is lonely, rip me). But the only exciting thing I did was Incursion (Im not sure I did all the bosses though, any way to tell? 100% sure we did the big bad, though) and my def went up.

I think thats what Nynja has that the other two chars of mine dont. I'm certain killing Durs-Vike grants MAB vorseal. I cant think of anything else I've done with Nyn that my other 2 havent that would grant MAB.

If you've never upgraded your base level, you should have the NM's KI's in your temp item list.

I have Durs-Vike. I did most of the incursion NMs for the first time on the same day except one (forget which). I only got +def.

Nope, guess you're right, I just killed Liij-Vok and Durs-Vike on my two mules and got no new vorseals. Back to the drawing board for what I've done on Nynja that my other two chars havent done (unless get a relic unlocks MAB? LOL)

Clearing Provenance gave absolutely nothing (vorseal wise). Which is kind of surprising considering how much of a boner SE had for PW before I quit.

So I go another 100 dragon cuisses to get 8 cursed cuisses -1 to get 0 voodoo cuisses, which makes me 0/18. Looks like I'll have to farm up 400 wyvern scales this time. This is going beyond ridiculous.
