Sony relives the '90s, announces dates for Jumanji, The Dark Tower, Resident Evil, Bad Boys

Most readers will notice the abundance of familiar names, or as my colleague Ross Miller said when seeing the announcement, "The future is the past, but in HD." In 1995, Jumanji and Bad Boys had blockbuster theatrical runs, The Dark Tower was only three books into the series, and Resident Evil was months away from release on the Sony PlayStation. Who says you can't go back?

Jumanji without robin will be that zathura movie. Movies like jumanji only worked because of a great actor giving it that twist. The writers will just rehash all those good moments but without robin and it'll be a massive price of shit.

The game in the reboot of Jumanji will clearly be a video game, like maybe a big ole arcade stand...you've heard it hear first.
And, I for one am really excited about The Dark Tower! Especially with an adaptation of King's 11/23/63 coming out next year as well, with James de Franco in the starring role and JJ Abrams being involved...I'm really hopeful we won't get a shitty King movie for once!
