But, my chicken McNugget has alien surfaces and fibers when viewed under a powerful microscope. Enjoy the nanomachine mind control devices, sheeple.

That is true maybe they don't require any special controls.

I don't know exactly how many lawsuits actually go to court vs. settle out of court and how hard Monsanto hits for, but I know the farmer half of my family is scared of them.
I can't find any actual evidence of this being true. In fact I've found the opposite - http://www.npr.org/sections/thesalt/...d-seeds-busted

From what I can find the only time Monsanto did sue someone for using their seeds was because the guy essentially stole the technology and tried to grow the plants without paying for it. I can't find any record of Monsanto actually suing anyone for a small amount in their field (from wind carrying pollen and such). All I see is a lot of people claiming they do this with no actual evidence. Yes they do sue people for trying to save the seed, but to get their seeds to begin with you have to sign an agreement stating that you agree to not save seeds. If you can find something that legitimately states that this is not what is happening, such as official court records, please show me. I am genuinely interested.

Also, people have been required to sign such seed saving contracts since before Monsanto or GMOs. It's my understand that in general seed saving is actually a bad idea for farmers because of the genetic variation that could potentially happen between years.

I am not a farmer however, so I may be completely wrong about all of this.

Edit: Posted the same link twice.
