ACC refs y'all
ACC refs y'all
So Duke AND North Carolina get hosed by ACC refs this year. Never thought I'd see that.
Duke and UNC basketball opponents are never gonna get a call from ACC refs this year, rip league integrity
I get why they gave the MVP trophy to Cook, but god damn Scott and the O-line deserved it just as much.
I almost don't want Oklahoma to drop to #4. Sparty will give Clemson so many headaches and I would love to see a MSU/Bama rematch for it all. A lot has changed since 2011.
Calling it
1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Michigan State
4. Oklahoma
I think Michigan State's victory pushes it over Oklahoma who should be in but suffer from not playing a game today
5. Stanford
6. Iowa
7. Ohio State
8. Florida State
9. Notre Dame
10. Houston
Swap Iowa and Ohio State, rest is fine. Love how some folks are loving on OU a ton. Baylor and OU both lost to the same Texas team lol, so bad.
I agree with Anoat's rankings, but doubt we'll get that (because I'm predicting bama as 1, state as 2, Clemson 3, and Oklahoma 4).
WOW!! North Carolina got cheated. Refball of the year!!
I want to make a justification about at the timeness and angles and real-time, but I'm drunk and I don't actually buy that excuse..
Making offsides/false start reviewable/challengeable will fix that for the future.
Yeah, but then do we make all calls reviewable?
I brought this up I'm the NFL thread (I think), but on PTI on Tuesday (?) they had Steve Young on and he talked about how this notion that refs are worse now is largely driven by the fact we have HD and immediate slowed down replays. In real-time, a lot of these calls (which are not reviewable (like the facemask on Rodgers)) are the "correct" call.
That said, I was watching the Iowa game, so I only saw the offsidrs post game, and yeah, that's bullshit.
Addendum: any errors are due to a drinking problem...
All calls reviewable in the 4th quarter and beyond is what I'd like to see.
As ESPN plays the replay of the last drive.. I'm very impressed by Michigan State -- Iowa wasn't getting anything done on offense that half, so sticking with their offense and not just kicking a field goal was a solid call.
Also, in seeing the replay of the Clemson v unc game.. The ref is literally on the line, soooooooooooooooooooooo...
Sports Illustrated reporting that Wil Muschamp to South Carolina is a done deal.
