Can't blame you for underselling it though. We both know the better Bradford looks, the more likely his leg will be detached from his body by week 2 because Eagles. After tonight, fans might as well pack it up for the season.


Incidentally, I was looking at the box score after Bradford's 3rd touchdown and for some reason Tim Tebow popped up there as 1/1 with 1 TD while they left Bradford at 9/9 with 2 TD. Refreshed it after a couple minutes and Tebow vanished while Bradford got credited for his 10/10 with 3 TD. The Tebow supporters must be restless.

Jameis and the Bucs looked really bad against Cleveland tonight. Jameis himself had a fed bad decision throws, but overwhelmingly it was his lack of protection from the offensive line getting dominated. And the Bucs defense started doing that thing when you are playing Madden and you go to switch to the closest defender and it switches you but you keep running the wrong way and you dive into fucking nothing.

and yes I know Bradford has looked good but it's still preseason. I know it's good for evaluating talent and getting used to new schemes etc, but it's still important to remember what it is; just remember the Detroit Lions looked really good going 4-0 in their 2008 preseason, and I'm sure we all know how that went.

Nah, if we're being serious then I undersell preseason performances worse than anyone. I just find it really hard to take any performances seriously in games that don't matter, especially by anyone that's essentially locked into their position, even if they supposedly have some value. Can't even remember the last time I bothered watching the games prior to this year.

Most of the other Eagles fans I know are paranoid as hell over Bradford being able to stay on the field and superstitious enough to believe that the better things start looking, the more catastrophic an injury he'll suffer, so it's fun to fuck around with that idea though.
