You mean bad as in good, right? I thought it looked really neat; a console evolution of Bravely Default.

Xenoblade looked a ton better here, but still some animations to smooth out. Lot of potential for memorable characters and yay for the Dec 1st release.

What purpose does the orange Creamsicle 2ds xl serve? Why? Just why?

And stop teasing us on VC with these "arcade" eshop additions. Just announce the damn thing.

Same goes for Smash. Just let us know when to expect it so I can stop waiting to hear Sakurai or the "swshhhh" every direct. I miss the hype train of daddy sakurai.

Octopath demo so far is amazing. Voice acting is great. Only thing that turns me off a tad (very minor for me) is the tiny voice segments in the beginning of each dialogue. "hmm" "indeed" "what?!" Etc gets annoying after a while.

Most games that have that allow you to turn it off, so I'm sure you'll be able to in the live version.

There's a feedback questionnaire after the demo is complete, I've heard -- leave that as feedback! They took it to heart with Bravely Default's demo feedback. The text speed could also use some options, hopefully they'll manage to sync it up with the voice acting come launch.

All that said, this game is fucking orgasmic. The HD2D concept is stunning and I want moar. FFVI remake on this engine, please?

Only some very minor nit-picks on the demo, it's outstanding so far. Really looking forward to this now.

I agree with the HD2D. In the towns espcially it feels incredibly cozy. That paired with the wonderful music of the game, it's just top notch.

Octopath is great so far; the new Mario trailer has me 10x more excited for the game than I was before, and now I get DOOM on the go. Really happy with my Switch purchase, honestly.

I still think Amiibos are a bit of a sham overall, but on the other hand I hate myself for how much I want them.

Switched the voice acting to JP in Octopath and it made the constant chatter a little less annoying. I've only played about 30 minutes of it, but the art style and combat are fantastic. The Menu screen is pretty sexy. I will need to see how the game looks on TV. I have only tried it in handheld mode.

Surveys have been sent to participants of Octopath Traveler's demo. I'd suggest filling them out and being as descriptive as possible with criticisms and positives -- Bravely Default changed a fair bit based on demo feedback.

What part of octopath was a console evolution of bravely default? The only thing it has going for it is the nice looking background imo, combat seemed really lame and the sprites are giving me ocular cancer

Being able to beat up every npc in town on olberic is also LOLWUT territory

Because you're on a sub full of SE fanboys and everyone who owns a Switch is desperately frothing at the mouth for anything to play.
