Opinions differ and all that but I'm not sure what people mean when they say Breath of the Wild is "empty." It's vast, sure, but there's something to do or find in practically every square yard. There's plenty of mobs but I'll grant there isn't a ton of variation other than pallet swaps later on. Over one hundred shrines, and way too many korok seeds, as well as a lot of side quests. If those things aren't your cup of tea, that's fine but it doesn't mean there's nothing there. Weapon fatigue is mildly annoying but not as huge a bummer as everyone that criticizes it makes it out to be. Every weapon can be replaced fairly easily and the important one regenerates fast enough. I personally really liked the game but I can see why other people would be turned off by it. And some just hate it because it's popular at all.
