3D Mario games just don't do it for me. My roommate loved Galaxy and Galaxy 2 and I just couldn't get into it. I played 3D land to completion but it was just... I don't know, never really got its hooks into me.

I know the magic of Mario 64 wont ever be duplicated, but I wouldn't mind even a little bit if they just copy that formula and do 12 or so worlds with x "shines" in each with some tight controls and HD gameplay.

If true, I have faith in NX. I also heard that NX is not rehash of older tech gimmicks.( ie wii to wii u,ds to 3ds). not a successor to wii u but a new console.

Few vg news outlets pointed out that a yahoo finance article is reporting that there was mention of the new console NX and a new handheld as well code named MH. Here's a link to the yahoo article.

Dr. Serkan Toto, CEO of Tokyo-based game industry consultancy Kantan Games, offers the following on the report: “That Morgan Stanley Japan note on Nintendo does NOT mean a portable console or the name ‘MH’ is confirmed. They are picturing a scenario. Such ‘rich’ forward-looking analysis and also the wording is standard in investor notes. I know because I read *tons* of them.”

Yeah seems to be conflicting reports and backtracking. Given Nintendo's double speak and cloak and dagger approach to new hardware I don't know what to believe personally.

If indeed the NX features a mobile platform handheld or something similar to the Wii U gamepad, I can see the upgrade to a 7 inch screen. I don't buy the VR for a second, and I don't buy the production delays either. That would potentially mean 2 E3's for Nintendo without something big and major to discuss and that simply will not happen.

According to Nintendo of Canada, NX will have an event that will be 100% dedicated to it, coming this fall 2016
