http://www.dualshockers.com/2016/10/...-game-footage/A Nintendo rep told Eurogamer the video was meant to explain how the Switch works. Other details — including games and an exact launch date — will be revealed closer to its March 2017 release window.
This video is all about explaining how the Nintendo Switch works. We wanted to convey in a self-contained video how Nintendo Switch represents a new era for video game systems enjoyed in front of a TV, by letting gamers play anywhere, anytime, with anyone they choose. It adds the mobility of a portable system to the power of a home gaming system.
At a later date, before the March launch, we’ll be talking about things like exact launch date, and of course, the games. You shouldn’t assume what you saw on the video represents actual game footage and further specifics on first-party games will be provided later.

Shouldn't assume the video represents actual game footage? Wowwwww
Why is that a wow? That's standard practice for those kind of advertisements unless the video explicitly states otherwise.
And even then, they're probably lying (looking at you every Ubisoft video of the last decade)
It's probably along the same vein as Bethesda saying Skyrim isn't confirmed for Switch.
Because the number 1 complaint about Nintendo is the lack of games, so they announce their new console with images of games that might possibly not even be in development for their system? That deserves a wowwwwww imo.
Which is more logical:
Nintendo illegally uses another company's IP to promote their upcoming game system

Bethesda doesn't want current sales of a very soon to be released game impacted by a Skyrim Switch release 6+ months from now?
If Switch never sees a Skyrim release, thats always a possibility. But Bethesda allowed them to use the footage. At the very least its safe to say Bethesda is considering a Switch release as of right now.
I think it says something about claims from 3rd parties that the Switch was very easy to develop for. If it is this simple for Bethesda to port a PS4 game to Switch, it might not be the 4k 60 FPS experience everyone gets hard for but should be beyond serviceable at 1080p 30 FPS.
Skyrim has been portable from the day it was first released.
Rumors developing that the Mario game featured could be a Sonic crossover...

Yeah I don't know how I feel about it to be honest... I love the old Sonic titles they're probably the reason I'm even posting here at all, my first vidya and all. But like pretty much everyone else I do not like the turn those games have taken for the past 15 years and I don't want Radical Cool Bro Sonic mucking about in my Mario adventure titles.
Maybe. VERY Maybe, if it included Old, no talking, no stupid grinning, Original Sonic doing Original Sonic things.
Very Very Very maybe... Ugh. I don't like having this conversation lol.
It makes sense; what else are Mario and Sonic going to do until the next Olympics?
Mario & Sonic would go with the Switch concept.
Nintendo expects to sell 2 Million units during it's Launch Month

Very little hardware in any industry is sold at a loss these days. Manufacturing costs have generally gone way down (thanks China) but everything has been kept at the same relative price for consumers.
