That trailer was mad hype, but the color palette for the game seems so unsaturated. All the colors look so dull. Maybe to hide the bad AA.

I'll take dull colors over the bland environments every other game showed off. Did no one notice how empty the worlds in the Mario game looked? The opening of the Zelda trailer was the same, but it picked up quickly thank god.

As hype as I am after that Zelda trailer......I still think I'm going to have to wait on this console. This year looks quite empty for Switch titles unless they are still saving some surprises. I'd probably buy this day 1 if Zelda and Xenoblade 2 were launch titles though.

i haven't owned a nintendo console since the gamecube. i don't really care if there isn't a massive launch library, it's extremely unlikely i'll burn thru zelda in a week and even if i do, i've got a million things in the backlog to keep me busy until more stuff comes along.

I came away less excited for the system than I was going in. Hesitating on a pre-order but I'll probably do it anyways. I'm still quite annoyed that they based this system off the Maxwell architecture instead of Pascal. The difference it would have made in both graphics quality and battery life would have been extremely worthwhile even if it ment a delay and/or higher price. That would have put it in a FAR better position to be strong for years to come.

This was more of a pipe dream, but since Nvidia scrapped their next tablet in lieu of the Switch I started hoping that it somehow would have Android app support. Having access to that store would have been perfect as a tablet and Nvidia has experience with the Shield TV in the living room.

Graphics on Zelda look very foggy to me, like my glasses are dirty or something. Guessing it's a trick to get by with lower-res textures?
