Minecraft: Switch Edition, because why not?

    https://twitter.com/4JStudios/status...rc=twsrc%5Etfw

    State of Mind - Q1 2017
State of Mind is a futuristic thriller game delving into transhumanism. The game explores themes of separation, disjuncture and reunification, in a world that is torn between a dystopian material reality and a utopian virtual future.
Employing multiple playable characters and two separate game worlds, State of Mind explores the existential drama that develops in a society on the brink of post-material existence.

You are Richard Nolan, a father and journalist from Berlin who discovers that he has been subject to an accident. As a result, he is still living with incomplete memories.

Upon realizing that he is literally a torn man, Richard sets out on a dramatic and dangerous search for salvation. He aims to reunite with his family, as well as with his own lost memories. On his way, he soon realizes that this journey isn’t only about him, but about the future of mankind.

    Key Features

    • 3rd Person Adventure
    • Story-driven gameplay experience
    • Switching between two game worlds
    • Multiple story layers
    • Multiple playable characters
    • Unique artstyle
    Kingdom - TBA
In Kingdom, each coin spent can tip the balance between prosperity and decay. Attend to your domain, border to border, or venture into the wild to discover its wonders and its threats. Master the land, build your defenses, and when the darkness comes, stand with your people, crown on your head, until the very end.

    Gameplay

Kingdom is a 2D sidescrolling strategy/resource management hybrid with a minimalist feel wrapped in a beautiful, modern pixel art aesthetic. Play the role of a king or queen atop their horse and enter a procedurally generated realm primed to sustain a kingdom, then toss gold to peasants and turn them into your loyal subjects in order to make your kingdom flourish. Protect your domain at night from the greedy creatures looking to steal your coins and crown, and explore the nearby, mysterious forests to discover curious and cryptic artifacts to aid your kingdom.
    GoNNER - TBA
GoNNER is a tough as hell score-based procedurally-generated platformer with roguelike elements. GoNNER is also a story about friendship between Ikk, Death, and a space whale named Sally.

You will die. A lot. This is by design, but it’s not made to feel unfair. You’ll eventually get the hang of GoNNER, so don’t lose your head. But even if you do it’s okay cause we have a lot of replacement heads you can use.

    Features:

    – DAILY CHALLENGES! Only playable once a day. Levels are randomly generated but in this mode everybody plays the same world and use an identical loadout. Everything resets at midnight (Swedish time, UTC+1). Can you crush your leaderboard foes?

    – PROCEDURALLY GENERATED! Every time you play the game the levels will be different and present unique challenges and opportunities.

    – UNLOCKS! You’ll be able to choose from a variety of passive and active abilities at the beginning of each run so be sure to experiment with all of them and find the play style that best suits you.

    – SECRETS! Secret areas exist in the world of GoNNER, and these areas will get you different items that you can then always use from the beginning of each run. We’re not going to tell you how you get to these areas or what the criteria is for even finding them because secrets, duh.

    – LEADERBOARDS! Kill creatures, get combos, score points, and brag to your friends how much better you are than them.

    – MUSIC! It’s really freaking good.

A majority of these games seem like mobile games.

You press the Minus button on the WiiU gamepad to switch from TV to gamepad. I've been playing Twilight Princess HD when I can't sleep at night on the gamepad.

@Krandor: I want a Monster Hunter game for the Switch, but I don't like the paid online subscription route they are going.

Gamestop doing work for Nintendo god damn, I could trade in my Wii U and physical games and get a switch for free, plus the $60 I was already going to spend on Zelda Wii U. That changes things...likewise I could do the same and get a PS4 lol.

yeah Gamestops deals in canada are really good, $150 trade in credit for a Wii U towards the switch, trade in 3 Wii U/3DS games and get a switch game payed off, and double trade in credit towards anything nintendo, pretty much covered everything with minimal trade in.

Thats some major bullshit the joy con grip doesnt charge those mother fuckers, you need to go out and buy a different 30$ one if you want to charge it without having to connect them to the tablet all the time. Should have just put micro or macro USP ports is the little shits seriously the fuck at this point.

Eh, with a battery life almost 10x that of the tablet, it seems like a non problem. If you don't have a problem charging any other type of controller, this isn't a big deal either.

I'm not sure what the point of making a non-charging version of the grip even is (other than to create a larger market for the $30 charging version). It doesn't look like they're going to sell that version by itself.

The Joy Cons have a 20hr battery life. Seems like a non-issue to me.

Meanwhile, PS4 controller has 4-6 hour battery life.

Dim's as low as it'll go. Only lasts 10 hours if you're watching Netflix.

Is there anything that self-charges the Dualshock while in use?

Yeah, I'd rather complain about the processor or orientation of the right joy stick than the struggle of having to connect the joycons to the $30 controller or base unit once a week. The base controller doesn't charge like a battery pack, but can a usb cable be connected to it to charge while in use? If so, then it's even more of a non-problem.

You can plug them into the system to charge while in use.
