Seeing a lot of concern over left con sync issues. Software related hopefully? As in, can fix issues with a patch if necessary? Hardware problems not what you wanna hear less than a week before launch.

Gamestop will have 2 Zelda bundles that offer no deals. Include a pro controller and the game, or you can pay $20 extra and get the strategy guide. They do not plan on having any stock systems.

I watched two videos about it and it's neither a hardware nor software issue, it's a design issue...kinda. Not that I blame the people making videos, but anyone with a basic knowledge of physics can see what's going on.

The issue is that unlike basically every controller ever, the joy con is small enough to cup entirely in your hand. Radio signals are easily blocked by liquids, the human body is mostly liquid. Therefore, this creates a unique situation where bigger hands can mistakenly be blocking the majority of the radio signal of the joy con, something thats difficult to do with more traditional controllers.

The downside here is that being primarily a design issue with the form factor, there won't be a "real" fix, because it's not feasible to change(they'd have to be bigger than they currently are, and then wouldn't fit on the switch).

The only thing they could do, is with a software update make the radios of the joy cons stronger, but this comes at the cost of battery life. Personally I wouldn't make this trade, so I might not expect them to either.

Seems about right for Nintendo. I've always had to wait for them to make a version for normal people because holding their baby machines makes my hands hurt. This is better I suppose if I don't plan to move around with it.

And if you are traveling your joycons will be connected to the system so you won't be able to fully cover the controllers.

Generally always since most Nintendo...I dunno stock controllers? The Wiimote, that awful Wii U game pad and now this suck ass but the Pro controller for the Wii U at least is nice. This version looks a bit clunkier so we'll see.

Everything I've seen about the Pro Controller is basically that its the most comfortable controller on any system.
