What is Othello?

Othello is a simple game that all can enjoy. It is easy to learn but hard to master. Even after 40 years since it first began, Othello continues to withstand the test of time and to be loved by players of all ages.

Othello’s Rules

In Othello, players take turns to place their disks; Black represents the first player while white represents the second. Place each disk by sandwiching it with the opponent’s thus converting them to your own. The player with the most number of disks in the end of the game wins.

A Game for All

Othello for the Nintendo Switch is designed for up to 2 players, from beginners to all-time players.

For single player mode, the game provides a spectrum of difficulty level from 1 to 16 for players to choose from.
The game provides a hint feature, whereby players could display the next possible moves. In addition, do-over feature allows players to retrace their last move. New comers could pick up the game with ease!

Othello supports multiplayer too! Detach the Joy-con and share it with your friends or family. Have fun in the 2 player mode!

Yeah I got a class today from 8am till 2-5 whenever they feel like letting us out. I took a peek inside the special edition when I got home around 1 a.m. last night but that's all. When I get home tonight I'll probably play Non-Stop after I cook dinner. The wife made a poor decision letting me snag this last night.

My Gamestop said the same thing sat there for 5 hours, walked home with; console, game, pro controller, and carrying case for if I want to leave with it. Pretty happy with my decision, they allowed myself and the other 5 to sit in the store all night rather deal with the below zero windchill.

Just got up at 7am and went to my local Target. Was only one other person waiting. They brought out tickets for us so I'm now waiting in my warm car until they open at 8. I figured most midnight releases would be waiting too long. The other guy here said he checked a few 24/7 Walmarts last night and they all had lines of 50+ people lol.

Surprisingly when I went to Gamestop to get one of the 6 that they had available they had myself and the other 5 sitting in their store for the duration of the release. Pretty cool people, I was whole ready to deal with the below zero windchill we had going on here because Target was unfortunately not an option couldn't get PTO for that :/. The only time I had to deal with the cold was during the actual midnight release.. people who pre-ordered got their systems first and they held the door open.
