Yep, not buying one of those yet lol
Not going to defend it, but seriously every console at launch has bad apples. A lot of what I saw in the video like someone pulling the fucking thing out with one hand of the dock and letting it grind against the dock, well what were you expecting to happen being that reckless.
I've yet to have one appear on mine, and after seeing how reckless people were in the video just pulling on it and dragging it on the dock, I chalk that up to you cannot design an idiot proof product.
edit - dead pixel thing is bs however saying that it's normal and not a defect is lulzy but apparently has been an issue since the 3DS so idk.
from what I have heard, the left joycon is a design flaw(which should have been fixed in beta testing)
I think the biggest fail is being unable to charge in portable mode with kickstand up.

Per Reggie, Switch launch has outsold the Wii launch & Zelda has outsold Super Mario 64.
Looking at wiki, Wii launch WW was close to 2M (600k in NA). I can only find lifetime sales of Mario 64 and that's 11.89M.
I mean, the only game it launched with was Zelda. Not hard to see how it would break software sales records when it's pretty much guaranteed to go 1:1 with the console.
Yeah, N64 launched with like 2 titles lol. Mario and Waverunners or something.
It was Pilotwings.
Come on. How hot was Pilotwings.
Waverace was pretty baller though when it did come out, and rumors of a new Wave Race have been surfacing since a TM registration by Nintendo surfaced recently.
Waverace was the shitttttt
I just walked by Target near my work during lunch and there's a switch on the shelf lol... I bought it (rip self control)

How can Nintendo keep getting away with such shoddy hardware?
