I've yet to have one appear on mine, and after seeing how reckless people were in the video just pulling on it and dragging it on the dock, I chalk that up to you cannot design an idiot proof product.

edit - dead pixel thing is bs however saying that it's normal and not a defect is lulzy but apparently has been an issue since the 3DS so idk.

I didn't have any issues in the brief time I used the joycons, but it probably isn't affecting every system.

Exactly what I'm waiting/hoping for. Switch 2.0 with better peformance, more storage, and by then people will have hacked the thing inside out to play games across every console released through the ps3/x360 era. Going to be good shit.

Per Reggie, Switch launch has outsold the Wii launch & Zelda has outsold Super Mario 64.

Looking at wiki, Wii launch WW was close to 2M (600k in NA). I can only find lifetime sales of Mario 64 and that's 11.89M.

I mean, the only game it launched with was Zelda. Not hard to see how it would break software sales records when it's pretty much guaranteed to go 1:1 with the console.
