Gamestop announced that they'll be restocked of Switches on Wednesday.

Mine was telling me "oh we'll have them thursday morning" pfft.

Thursday is likely. They havent even shipped any to my store yet and i doubt they will get here in that short of time.

Even if it doesn<T localise some games support english text in JP eshop (I am setsuna comes to mind)

So if that's the case just buy on jp eshop

The japanese site does specifically list multiplayer options in the 2-3 range, and that multiplayer is only available for Seiken 2 and 3.

Well, yes; SD2 (Secret of Mana) and SD3 are both 3-player games natively. I'm saying that unless they added online multiplayer, this release appears to have exactly zero improvements over the SNES release.

However, to the localization point above: I do not believe SD3 has ever received an official English translation, so if this compilation appears in the West, that would be a Big Deal. Similarly, as to the idea of an "English text" option in the JP E-Shop, while that's certainly a possibility for SD1 and SD2 (which were both released in English), there's no way they are going to go through the trouble of translating a huge JRPG like SD3 and then NOT give it a full-fledged release in NA/EU.

Gamestop rumor was true. I heard it elsewhere(nowinstock tracker website chat).

A few people on there were saying some gamestops had them early. I called two gamestops and the 2nd one had some. Went and grabbed it on lunch. They only had 1 left after me.
I would really search walmarts targets and gamestops tomorrow if they havent sold out by now.

Secret of Mana 2/3 was always a multiplayer game. Biggest question is if they added online functionality for the multiplayer, which would be fucking amazing.

All stores have been getting restocks this week. If you havent gotten one today, you might have missed the wave. Might be another restock in another week or two
