Have people reported desync issues, or damaged switches with the new stock batch yet? Still debating on getting one, but i already beat BotW on the wii u, so i don't think it would be totally worth right now.

They put out a statement about addressing the manufacturing issues which were causing the problem today, so I imagine it will be a few more waves before that issue stops showing up. I think I read that they opened a service to send your joycon in to get it repaired -- takes a week or so. I don't really buy that it's a manufacturing issue, but whatever..

As far as if it's worth it.. BotW is really the only selling point right now. There's the Splatoon demo this weekend, but I can't imagine there are a lot of people champing at the bit to get a Switch for that..
For those concerned about docking your switch without a protector, been using mine since launch still zero scratches and I don't have a protector. Just don't be a jack ass while docking it and you'll be fine, it's really hard to scratch it, I've slammed my dock down with the console in it and there was no marks, so the people doing it are clearly using excessive force or just dropping it in there carelessly.
Because one persons anecdotal evidence trumps all others.
My definition of not being a jackass is buying a 10 dollar screen protector and not worrying about it![]()
You can't scratch your Switch screen if you're not able to buy one.

My screen protector came in yesterday. The day after I got my switch. I got the ambii temperedglass one. It is reallllllllly sweet. I think I will be buying similar screen protectors for all my devices from now on.
Anyway. I went ahead and docked mine before I had protector and found out that the docking isnt like a hard lock click and slide against the insides of the dock. There is actually a nice bit of space between dock and screen. They dont really even make contact if done right.
Planning on picking up a Pro controller after work this evening. Anyone use theirs on PC? Do you have to have Bluetooth access to use it, or will the controller emu tools work fine with USB*? I can't remember what they are called
I think you need a bluetooth to use ito n pc. I was trying to set it up so I could play nier with it but it proved to be problematic
Also, have we started a friendcode thread?

Got my controller Friday evening and had to wait until yesterday until I could run out to Best Buy and get another USB to Bluetooth adapter. The controller synced almost immediately, booted up Tales of Berseria, and it worked perfectly. I need to re-learn the controls to Tales, but holy shit, the pro controller is sexy AF.
So Lego City Undercover is a shit port lol
1) Requires internet connection because
2) Game is 7GB on cart but requires a 13GB download EVEN IF YOU BUY THE CART.
So if you buy the cart you need 13GB space, or 20GB if you go full digital
lol
Think I'm gonna get that snake pass game, might wait for some more reviews though.
Shitty ports of years old game? Where have I seen this before...
From what I'm reading, if true, they just didn't bother to actually include the full game on the cart. /headscratch
Larger size carts cost more money, WB trying to penny pinch hardcore by putting most of the game behind a download.
