New season is up. Group Name for all is: OrderoftheBlueGartr. All of these go all season, with a different set of games every week, so you need to have at least some level of dedication to win. If you were in any of these leagues last year, you should be able to simply click rejoin. There is no cost to enter, but nor is there a prize other than your name on the list at the bottom of this post.

College Pick Em: Pick 10 college games, rank em in order of priority. Changes every week, all games are Saturday games in case you're wondering about the lineup selection missing good games. Most points (not picks) at the end of the year wins.

NFL Pick Em: Simple, straight up. Pick each game every week. Most correct picks wins at the end of the year. Worst week dropped in case you forget one, which you can't do in the College Pick Em, which I've always thought is weird.

Eliminator: Pick one winner every week, you can't pick the same team twice. Whoever picks the most total correct winners wins. Ties are broken by most consecutive wins to start the season, after that we go to whatever standard ESPN tiebreakers are. The first week is a doozy this year, good luck.

Also, if anyone's interested in playing a $35 chip league pool, send me a PM. Start with 10,000 chips, bet any amount of those on any major college or NFL game you want vs. the spread, over/under, or you can parlay up to 15 results; whoever has the most chips at the end of the Super Bowl wins. Winner last year only had 27,000 chips and he won $400.05 off his $30 investment; we had 23 entries and paid out to 3rd. Chrius played last year.

Well, if you bork them early enough and hard enough, you can always rebuy up to September 28th. Last year, someone nearly ended up rebuying twice, but hit his bet on a last second field goal to almost get back to even. Didn't help him in the end, though, he still crapped out early.

I looked, doesn't look like that's an option I have to switch it once the group is started. Getting 18 people to switch groups at this point is a little much, plus I think there's a handful of casuals that might theoretically be scared off by picking against the spread.

That being said, there's a post on the league board about it. If you have strong feelings one way or another about it, post there, and if there is sufficient demand, we can change it for next year.

Oh yeah, they did. Good catch, I'm flipping games around now, although it is too late for the Stanford-Northwestern and Maryland-Richmond games. Which may be good if Northwestern holds this lead.

Why would they do that?
