Yeah, right. Parse it and it'll still remain the same. Watch the guy who reports it on the OF get banned. lol

put yourself in neutral eva against a mob, and have someone tank it. Record ~200 swings with and without mythic, and note the difference. I know someone might mention sample sizes, but with 30 acc representing a 15% hit rate increase, I think 200 swings would be enough to determine if that acc+30 works or not?
The "activates only during engage" sounds like an excuse... I don't really see why it should be like that. Not like they haven't already complicated their dev lives with useless and complicated stuff before though...
Even more than I don't really see how it would not only be active while engaged but also not actually just your acc and just up your hit rate. Iirc signet bonuses gave evasion/def boosts when engaged and could be seen. Think this is just a case of oh don't worry every visible indicator says it's not there but trust us it's there just invisible
The only accuracy bonus that you can't see, afaik, is the NIN one from Innin, when you're behind.
I'm still very skeptic on what they're saying though.
Innin, Ambush, and Closed Position all give hidden accuracy (as well as hidden evasion for Closed Position), and signet and sigil give hidden defense and evasion bonuses as well. It's not unprecedented for certain things to give stat boosts that don't apply to check param.
I wonder what's the purpose of making a stat that's not "visible" on a weapon though.
I could have sworn I became quite noticeably more physically accurate with Tupsimati compared to a regular +0 accuracy staff of the same level, but I suppose that may just be a placebo
As an update, SE has moved the thread I posted from the In-Game Bugs section, where we are supposed to post any potential bugs, to the Accepted Bugs section. According to the Bug Reporting Flow post, this means that:
1. My post contains sufficient information to be investigated further, and not moved to the "Insufficient Information" section.
2. No duplicate reports have been confirmed, so it is not moved to the "Duplicate Bugs" section.
3. Seemingly, someone in the SE dev team will actually take a look at it and potentially fix it, or say its working as intended, and move my post to the "Confirmed/Planning to Address" section, or the "Working as Intended" section, respectively.
Or it will be ignored like most of the other 385 accepted bugs.
Had Kincard go over it:
"They stated that the accuracy +30 on the weapon only applies while autoattacking, so it will not show up on /checkparam normally. The reason they give for it is that there are limits to stats they can put onto an item, so they used some kind of a special method to put it onto the item in this case."
So yeah, can accept this and move on.. I .. guess?
Sure hope it applies to anything once you are engaged.
And I thought they overcame the "amount of stats limit on a single item" quite some time ago.
Wonder if Tupsimati worked the same way in the level 75 version...
Dunno, could be true but sounds like crap to me.
They did overcome the stat limit a while ago, but Tupsimati was released a long time before that. Why take the time to change it back to the normal stat if it doesn't actually make any difference in battle, even though they now can?
I could understand that if we were talking about the old versions (did the 75 thing have this "hidden" accuracy btw?), but we're talking about the 119 version here which is technically a new item =/
I dunno, this whole thing seems more complicated and fishy than necessary, but then again it's SE we're talking of so why am I even surprised.
