Magikarps are running like little fuckers.
We had a few people in Raleigh area right? If so, go to Lynn Lake(I think that's the name).
Also, my Vaporeon is pretty neat
Spoiler: show
I'm having both issues, they're attacking more often and running away more often.
And maybe its my own service for the pokestop issues. Haven't had that problem before I did the update though.
I didn't mind the power saver glitch. I don't like holding my phone constantly and restarting the game when it did happen wasn't that big of a problem. It was annoying, but atleast my battery lasted.
Power saver mode sucked balls and didn't work. Of course they removed it for now. It was causing issues and bugs, they probably got hundreds of thousands of bug reports about it. Almost every time I used it the screen would become unresponsive when the screen came back from black. I hope they fix it and bring it back because it is certainly useful, but I'm fine with it being axed until it actually...works.
Pokemon using moves more often, I noticed that last night. It's fine, it's a game, makes it more of a challenge. I hope the capture rate was rebalanced to be slightly better though, at least based on the items you are using if not overall. Don't know if anyone has numbers for that though.
Poke-radars have to be updated when the game updates certain things, it looks like.
Animations in encounters are definitely smoother now. When a pokemon breaks out now you get the same message as you do in the main line Pokemon games, which is neat. Will be watching to see if they fixed my least-favorite glitch, the one where the game locks you in the bag screen if you go into the bag as a Pokemon is fleeing.
Dunno about the pokestop issues, I was having them last night as well but I thought it was just my connection (and that was all before I updated the actual app so whatever is going on it's server-side). Currently I'm getting GPS Signal Lost errors about every minute, and Network connection errors although my connection should be fine. I think some overall stability was lost despite the good changes...
See, and Power saver glitch only happened to me, like, 2-3 times every hour so it didn't annoy me that much.
Well, the radar is now actually even MORE useless. You can't even tell what's in your general area. Just had a slowbro pop up in front of me out of no where and got 3 dratinis that didn't even pop up on my map...
They should have just removed the entire thing while they fixed it. Can't track, have no idea whats actually around you, Radar remnants are still a fucking thing
Lmao, just had 3 pokemon spawn next to me. None on radar....
I caught a wild gengar 432 cp, but 98% IV. All that ghastly candy and stardust needed to level it up ~_~
also found ou the jolteon i made it 95% IV ~_~ everyting but my all time favorite water type.
Still havent seen a growlithe
I think I'm having terrible luck with IVs. Silph Road is the most accurate one out there?
The pokemon catching experience is definitely more smooth. Curveballs seem to curve a little bit more and fly faster.
Also, I am getting curveball credit on every throw now.
I'm definitely having more break outs/run away on the first ball even with berries and great balls. Really annoying.
I had a Poliwhirl punch two balls away which amused me. They are attack/dodging more for sure.
Onix nest at Holmes Lake in Lincoln is now Doduos. I'm sad about the nest changes because i just found a Growlithe nest earlier in the week, but I've been working 6 days a week and can't get there during the day when the park is open. Imagine it's no longer Growlithe.
Not having the pokestop glitch on my phone yet. Liking the extra encounters here and lastly who doesn't have a power pack for their phone. Using a 10500 one, lasts all day long ( at least the 18 hours I was out without running out yet)
Speaking of escaping Pokemon, lots of the low cp run from me more often than the high cp, which annoying. You'd think at Lv 20 sub 50 cp take less than 3 pokeballs to catch.
